May he rain down ¹  fiery coals upon them! May he throw them into the fire! From bottomless pits they will not escape. ² 

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, ¹  but the righteous have refuge ²  even in the threat of death. ³ 

The dice are thrown into the lap, ¹  but their every decision ²  is from the Lord. ³ 

Like charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire, so is a contentious person ¹  to kindle strife. ² 

Like a coating of glaze ¹  over earthenware are fervent ²  lips with an evil heart. ³ 

When the wicked gain control, ¹  people ²  hide themselves, ³  but when they perish, ⁴  the righteous increase.

Those who put their hope in Cush and took pride in Egypt will be afraid and embarrassed. ¹ 

I will establish my sovereignty over Elam. ¹  I will destroy their king and their leaders,” ²  says the Lord. ³ 

Now if you are ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must bow down and pay homage to the statue that I had made. If you don’t pay homage to it, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. Now, who is that god who can rescue you from my power?” ¹ 

But he refused. Instead, he went out and threw him in prison until he repaid the debt.

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, ¹  saying, “Who is this?”

He also said, “The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

And you, Capernaum, ¹  will you be exalted to heaven? ²  No, you will be thrown down to Hades! ³ 

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world ¹  will be driven out. ² 

I ¹  persecuted this Way ²  even to the point of death, ³  tying up ⁴  both men and women and putting ⁵  them in prison,

But be careful that this liberty of yours does not become a hindrance to the weak.

Yet these men, ¹  as a result of their dreams, ²  defile the flesh, reject authority, ³  and insult ⁴  the glorious ones. ⁵ 

Jesus ¹  answered them, “I tell you the truth, ²  if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.

So he asked Pharaoh’s officials, who were with him in custody in his master’s house, “Why do you look so sad today?” ¹
