You pick me up on the wind and make me ride on it; ¹  you toss me about ²  in the storm. ³ 

You will break them ¹  with an iron scepter; ²  you will smash them like a potter’s jar!’” ³

נ (Nun) Your word ¹  is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path. ² 

The wicked lay a trap for me, but I do not wander from your precepts.

Esteem her highly ¹  and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.

The dice are thrown into the lap, ¹  but their every decision ²  is from the Lord. ³ 

Drive out the scorner ¹  and contention will leave; strife and insults will cease. ²

For this reason whoever is smart ¹  keeps quiet ²  in such a time, for it is an evil ³  time.
