Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, ¹  who became a traitor.

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) ¹  said,

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” ¹ 

But if we examined ourselves, we would not be judged.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.

Afterward I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets ¹  what sort of person he was.

and then ¹  if he gets up and walks about ²  outside on his staff, then the one who struck him is innocent, except he must pay ³  for the injured person’s ⁴  loss of time ⁵  and see to it that he is fully healed.

or when he touches human uncleanness with regard to anything by which he can become unclean, ¹  even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty;

then he promises, ¹  “I will send rain for your land ²  in its season, the autumn and the spring rains, ³  so that you may gather in your grain, new wine, and olive oil.

¹ Nahash ²  the Ammonite marched ³  against Jabesh Gilead. All the men of Jabesh Gilead said to Nahash, “Make a treaty with us and we will serve you.”

“But they forgot the Lord their God, so he gave ¹  them into the hand of Sisera, the general in command of Hazor’s ²  army, ³  and into the hand of the Philistines and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.

On the third day David and his men came to Ziklag. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They attacked Ziklag and burned it. ¹ 

Later there was another battle with the Philistines, this time in Gob. On that occasion Sibbekai the Hushathite killed Saph, who was one of the descendants of Rapha.

Later there was a battle ¹  with the Philistines in Gezer. ²  At that time Sibbekai the Hushathite killed Sippai, ³  one of the descendants of the Rephaim, and the Philistines ⁴  were subdued.

Afterward King Sennacherib of Assyria, while attacking Lachish with all his military might, sent his messengers ¹  to Jerusalem. The message was for King Hezekiah of Judah and all the people of ²  Judah who were in Jerusalem. It read:

Many days later the Lord said to me, “Go at once to Perath and get ¹  the shorts I ordered you to bury there.”

As ¹  he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things ²  happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
