The one who is greedy for gain ¹  troubles ²  his household, ³  but whoever hates bribes ⁴  will live.

When the righteous become numerous, ¹  the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. ² 

So I began to despair ¹  about all the fruit of ²  my labor ³  for which I worked so hard ⁴  on earth. ⁵ 

Wail, for the Lord’s day of judgment ¹  is near; it comes with all the destructive power of the sovereign judge. ²

In all the vineyards there will be wailing, for I will pass through ¹  your midst,” says the Lord.

Later Reuben returned to the cistern to find that Joseph was not in it! ¹  He tore his clothes,

David then grabbed his own clothes ¹  and tore them, as did all the men who were with him.
