But Uriah stayed at the door of the palace with all ¹  the servants of his lord. He did not go down to his house.

So he did ¹  as the Lord told him; he went and lived in the Kerith Valley near the Jordan.

The builders to a man had their swords strapped to their sides while they were building. But the trumpeter ¹  remained with me.

So ¹  every day Jesus ²  was teaching in the temple courts, ³  but at night he went and stayed ⁴  on the Mount of Olives. ⁵

But as the man ¹  went out he began to announce it publicly and spread the story widely, so that Jesus ²  was no longer able to enter any town openly but stayed outside in remote places. Still ³  they kept coming ⁴  to him from everywhere.

When his time of service was over, ¹  he went to his home.

“You are the ones who have remained ¹  with me in my trials.

and were continually in the temple courts ¹  blessing ²  God. ³ 

Lot went up from Zoar with his two daughters and settled in the mountains because he was afraid to live in Zoar. So he lived in a cave with his two daughters.
