Go ahead and ¹  charge into battle, you horsemen! Drive furiously, you charioteers! Let the soldiers march out into battle, those from Ethiopia and Libya who carry shields, and those from Lydia ²  who are armed with the bow. ³ 

As you move forward for battle, the priest ¹  will approach and say to the soldiers, ² 

Joshua told the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God!”

Now this is what we will do to Gibeah: We will attack the city as the lot dictates. ¹ 

Now you say, ‘Go and say to your master, “Elijah is back,”’ ¹  but he will kill me.”

They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, ¹  like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God.
