Yes, ¹  look! Those far from you ²  die; you destroy everyone who is unfaithful to you. ³ 

He makes the barren woman of the family ¹  a happy mother of children. ²  Praise the Lord!

Listen, children, ²  to a father’s instruction, ³  and pay attention so that ⁴  you may gain ⁵  discernment.

She has prepared her meat, ¹  she has mixed her wine; she also has arranged her table. ² 

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

In the path of righteousness there is life, but another path leads to death. ¹ 

The Lord abhors ¹  the way of the wicked, but he loves those ²  who pursue ³  righteousness.

Doing wickedness ¹  is an abomination to kings, because a throne ²  is established in righteousness.

remove the wicked from before the king, ¹  and his throne ²  will be established in righteousness. ³ 

She also gets up ¹  while it is still night, and provides food ²  for her household and a portion ³  to her female servants.

¹ The way of the righteous is level, the path of the righteous that you make is straight. ² 

O Lord, you make us secure, ¹  for even all we have accomplished, you have done for us. ² 

The Lord is exalted, ¹  indeed, ²  he lives in heaven; ³  he fills Zion with justice and fairness.

All your children will be followers of the Lord, and your children will enjoy great prosperity. ¹ 

On every high, elevated hill you prepare your bed; you go up there to offer sacrifices.

I will give you leaders ¹  who will be faithful to me. ²  They will lead you with knowledge and insight.

And call no one your ‘father’ on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.

And the child grew and became strong, ¹  filled with wisdom, ²  and the favor ³  of God ⁴  was upon him.

For the law was given through Moses, but ¹  grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

God is spirit, ¹  and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
