Our food has been cut off right before our eyes! ¹  There is no longer any joy or gladness in the temple of our God! ² 

Though you have eyes, don’t you see? And though you have ears, can’t you hear? ¹  Don’t you remember?

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your acts of charity ¹  have been remembered before God. ² 

I, Paul, write this greeting by my own hand. ¹  Remember my chains. ²  Grace be with you. ³ 

We thank God always for all of you as we mention you constantly ¹  in our prayers,

As I remember your tears, I long to see you, ¹  so that I may be filled with joy.

Indeed, I will also make every effort that, after my departure, you have a testimony of these things. ¹ 

But you, dear friends – recall the predictions ¹  foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. ² 

Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, ¹  saying, ²  “Certainly ³  God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s house.”

He put ¹  them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as stones of memorial for the Israelites, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

We remember ¹  the fish we used to eat ²  freely ³  in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic.

The Lord had not decreed that he would blot out Israel’s memory ¹  from under heaven, ²  so he delivered them through Jeroboam son of Joash.

Please remember me for this, O my God, and do not wipe out the kindness that I have done for the temple of my God and for its services!

The womb ¹  forgets him, the worm feasts on him, no longer will he be remembered. Like a tree, wickedness will be broken down.

You terrified the nations with your battle cry; ¹  you destroyed the wicked; ²  you permanently wiped out all memory of them. ³ 

For the music director; a psalm of David. How long, Lord, will you continue to ignore me? ²  How long will you pay no attention to me? ³ 

Do not hold against me ¹  the sins of my youth ²  or my rebellious acts! Because you are faithful to me, extend to me your favor, O Lord! ³ 

I will pray ¹  to God, my high ridge: ²  “Why do you ignore ³  me? Why must I walk around mourning ⁴  because my enemies oppress me?”

Carefully consider this, you who reject God! ¹  Otherwise I will rip you to shreds ²  and no one will be able to rescue you.
