You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost, but with force and harshness ¹  you have ruled over them.

The leprosy left him at once, and he was clean.

He asked him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may be healed and live.”

Then ¹  he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ²  Go in peace.”

But when Jesus heard this, he told ¹  him, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” ² 

The man went away and informed the Jewish leaders ¹  that Jesus was the one who had made him well.

(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud ¹  and caused him to see ²  was a Sabbath.) ³ 

For the man, on whom this miraculous sign ¹  of healing had been performed, ²  was over forty years old.

He said to me, “These waters go out toward the eastern region and flow down into the Arabah; when they enter the Dead Sea, ¹  where the sea is stagnant, ²  the waters become fresh. ³ 

Then Jesus went throughout all the towns ¹  and villages, teaching in their synagogues, ²  preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

In those days Hezekiah was stricken with a terminal illness. ¹  He prayed to the Lord, who answered him and gave him a sign confirming that he would be healed. ² 

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, ¹  yet ²  none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.” ³ 

At that very time ¹  Jesus ²  cured many people of diseases, sicknesses, ³  and evil spirits, and granted ⁴  sight to many who were blind.

While the man ¹  was hanging on to Peter and John, all the people, completely astounded, ran together to them in the covered walkway ²  called Solomon’s Portico. ³ 

Every living creature which swarms where the river ¹  flows will live; there will be many fish, for these waters flow there. It will become fresh ²  and everything will live where the river flows.
