The stands were constructed with frames between the joints.

The water flowed down all sides of the altar and filled the trench.

Jehoshaphat’s kingdom enjoyed peace; his God made him secure on every side. ¹ 

his body ¹  well nourished, ²  and the marrow of his bones moist. ³ 

I am not afraid ¹  of the multitude of people ²  who attack me from all directions. ³ 

For I am overcome with shame ¹  and my whole body is sick. ² 

They surround me like water all day long; they join forces and encircle me. ¹ 

Remove perverse speech ¹  from your mouth; ²  keep devious talk far from your lips. ³ 

A worthless and wicked person ¹  walks around saying perverse ²  things; ³ 

Like a slice of pomegranate is your forehead ¹  behind your veil.

But you were brought down ¹  to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit. ² 

Jesus ¹  went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around him.

My brothers and sisters, ¹  consider it nothing but joy ²  when you fall into all sorts of trials,

All the people, ¹  rulers, ²  leaders, and judges were standing on either side of the ark, in front of the Levitical priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord. Both resident foreigners and native Israelites were there. ³  Half the people stood in front of Mount Gerizim and the other half in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the Lord’s servant had previously instructed to them to do for the formal blessing ceremony. ⁴ 

and for the second side of the gate of the courtyard, just like the other, ¹  the hangings were twenty-two and a half feet long, with their three posts and their three bases.

At the same time the men who had taken the city came out to fight, and the men of Ai were trapped in the middle. ¹  The Israelites struck them down, leaving no survivors or refugees.

Joab son of Zeruiah and the servants of David also went out and confronted them at the pool of Gibeon. One group stationed themselves on one side of the pool, and the other group on the other side of the pool.

All of these were built with the best ¹  stones, chiseled to the right size ²  and cut with a saw on all sides, ³  from the foundation to the edge of the roof ⁴  and from the outside to the great courtyard.

and suddenly ¹  a great wind ²  swept across ³  the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they died! And I – only I alone – escaped to tell you!”

You said to yourself, ¹  “I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El ²  I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon. ³
