The children of your servants will settle down here, and their descendants ¹  will live securely in your presence.” ² 

But the one who listens ¹  to me will live in security, ²  and will be at ease ³  from the dread of harm.

Then you will walk on your way ¹  with security, and you ²  will not stumble. ³ 

for the Lord will be ¹  the source of your confidence, ²  and he will guard your foot ³  from being caught in a trap. ⁴ 

No one ¹  can be established ²  through wickedness, but a righteous root ³  cannot be moved.

Fearing the Lord ¹  leads ²  to life, ³  and one who does so will live ⁴  satisfied; he will not be afflicted ⁵  by calamity.

Fairness will produce peace ¹  and result in lasting security. ²

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their leaders, had assigned responsibilities, like their relatives, as they served in the Lord’s temple.
