They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, ¹  to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ² 

and ¹  bread made without yeast, and perforated cakes without yeast mixed with oil, and wafers without yeast spread ²  with oil – you are to make them using ³  fine wheat flour.

and a basket of bread made without yeast, cakes of fine flour mixed with olive oil, wafers made without yeast and smeared with olive oil, and their ¹  grain offering and their drink offerings. ² 

Our ancestors ¹  ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” ² 

After he said this, Paul ¹  took bread ²  and gave thanks to God in front of them all, ³  broke ⁴  it, and began to eat.

Then he said to me, “Son of man, I am about to remove the bread supply ¹  in Jerusalem. ²  They will eat their bread ration anxiously, and they will drink their water ration in terror

Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and lentil stew; Esau ate and drank, then got up and went out. ¹  So Esau despised his birthright. ² 

They will eat the meat the same night; ¹  they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast ²  and with bitter herbs.

You must put pure frankincense ¹  on each row, ²  and it will become a memorial portion ³  for the bread, a gift ⁴  to the Lord.

They may observe it on the fourteenth day of the second month ¹  at twilight; they are to eat it with bread made without yeast and with bitter herbs.

You have eaten no bread and drunk no wine or beer – all so that you might know that I ¹  am the Lord your God!

He then handed out to each Israelite man and woman a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake.

A huge crowd assembled in Jerusalem to observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month. ¹ 

So the Israelites who were present observed the Passover at that time, as well as the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days.

“‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you will celebrate the Passover, and for seven days bread made without yeast will be eaten.

The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.” ¹ 

But he answered, ¹  “It is written, ‘Man ²  does not live ³  by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” ⁴ 

Now on the first day of the feast of ¹  Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and said, ²  “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?” ³ 

The devil said to him, “If ¹  you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” ² 

When ¹  he had taken his place at the table ²  with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, ³  and gave it to them.
