Raise me to a position of great honor! ¹  Turn and comfort me! ² 

ח (Khet) The Lord’s loyal kindness ¹  never ceases; ²  his compassions ³  never end.

Though he causes us ¹  grief, he then has compassion on us ²  according to the abundance of his loyal kindness. ³

You uprooted a vine ¹  from Egypt; you drove out nations and transplanted it.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient ¹  and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. ² 

As a father has compassion on his children, ¹  so the Lord has compassion on his faithful followers. ² 

Blessed is the one who is always cautious, ¹  but whoever hardens his heart ²  will fall into evil.

Instead, ¹  be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. ²
