I pray that ¹  the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ²  may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation ³  in your growing knowledge of him, ⁴ 

Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another ¹  as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

But you even break off ¹  piety, ²  and hinder ³  meditation ⁴  before God.

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

They executed his miraculous signs among them, ¹  and his amazing deeds in the land of Ham.

His descendants ¹  will be powerful on the earth; the godly ²  will be blessed.

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice,

“Come, eat ¹  some of my food, and drink some of the wine I have mixed. ² 

Treasures gained by wickedness ¹  do not profit, but righteousness ²  delivers from mortal danger. ³ 

Righteousness exalts ¹  a nation, but sin is a disgrace ²  to any people.

Gray hair is like ¹  a crown of glory; ²  it is attained ³  in the path of righteousness. ⁴ 

She begins ¹  her work vigorously, and she strengthens ²  her arms.

Justice will settle down in the desert and fairness will live in the orchard. ¹ 

Old and new wine take away the understanding of my people. ¹ 

Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord.

Grace and peace to you ¹  from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters! ¹ 

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.

But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, ¹  encouragement, and consolation.

Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep ¹  in Christ have also perished.
