Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea creatures and all you ocean depths,

The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth ¹  of the Jordan River. ²  The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan, ³ 

Next, ¹  the second angel ²  poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.

These last five kings ¹  joined forces ²  in the Valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea). ³ 

But ¹  you blew with your breath, and ²  the sea covered them. They sank ³  like lead in the mighty waters.

There the border will turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and then its direction is to the sea. ¹ 

“‘And for a western border ¹  you will have the Great Sea. ²  This will be your western border.

But as for you, ¹  turn back and head for the desert by the way to the Red Sea.” ² 

Their southern border started at the southern tip of the Salt Sea, ¹ 

“You saw the affliction of our ancestors in Egypt, and you heard their cry at the Red Sea. ¹ 

He turned the sea into dry land; ¹  they passed through the river on foot. ²  Let us rejoice in him there! ³ 

The Lord says, “I will retrieve them ¹  from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,

He divided the sea and led them across it; he made the water stand in a heap.

He guided them safely along, while the sea covered their enemies.

Let the sky rejoice, and the earth be happy! Let the sea and everything in it shout!

Let the sea and everything in it shout, along with the world and those who live in it!

Why do you flee, O sea? Why do you turn back, O Jordan River?

and tossed ¹  Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his loyal love endures,

“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles –

“Tell the Israelites that they must turn and camp ¹  before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you are to camp by the sea before Baal Zephon opposite it. ²
