But how can it rest ¹  when I, the Lord, have ²  given it orders? I have ordered it to attack the people of Ashkelon and the seacoast. ³ 

Then King Nebuchadnezzar bowed down with his face to the ground ¹  and paid homage to Daniel. He gave orders to offer sacrifice and incense to him.

Joshua instructed ¹  the leaders of the people:

And do everything in a decent and orderly manner.

The Philistines left ¹  their idols ²  there, so David ordered that they be burned.

Hezekiah ordered that storerooms be prepared in the Lord’s temple. When this was done, ¹ 

The steps of a person ¹  are ordained by ²  the Lord – so how can anyone ³  understand his own ⁴  way?

Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am no longer allowed to go ¹  into the Lord’s temple.
