When she got up to gather grain, Boaz told ¹  his male servants, “Let her gather grain even among ²  the bundles! Don’t chase her off! ³ 

The descendants of Levi carried the ark of God on their shoulders with poles, just as Moses had ordered according to the divine command.

They and their relatives, all of them skilled and trained to make music to the Lord, numbered two hundred eighty-eight. ¹ 

He spoke with me, instructing me as follows: ¹  “Daniel, I have now come to impart understanding to you.

He instructed them to take nothing for the journey except a staff ¹  – no bread, no bag, ²  no money in their belts –

When the man ¹  overtook them, he spoke these words to them.

So Moses numbered them according to the word ¹  of the Lord, just as he had been commanded. ² 

So Moses instructed ¹  the Israelites to observe ²  the Passover.

So I instructed you at that time regarding everything you should do.

So Joshua instructed the priests, “Come up from the Jordan!”

So David went up as Gad instructed him to do, according to the Lord’s instructions.

So Uriah the priest did exactly as ¹  King Ahaz ordered.

Then Esther replied to Hathach with instructions for Mordecai:

So Mordecai set out to do everything that Esther had instructed him.

The wise person ¹  accepts instructions, ²  but the one who speaks foolishness ³  will come to ruin. ⁴ 

So I went and buried them at Perath ¹  as the Lord had ordered me to do.

So ¹  the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.

They replied as Jesus had told them, and the bystanders ¹  let them go.

But he forcefully commanded ¹  them not to tell this to anyone, ² 

Such women are always seeking instruction, ¹  yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.
