And the disciples were filled with joy ¹  and with the Holy Spirit.

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, ¹  the disciples would not let him.

he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples, who then gave them to the crowds. ¹ 

Tie up the scroll as legal evidence, ¹  seal the official record of God’s instructions and give it to my followers. ² 

Then ¹  they said to him, “John’s ²  disciples frequently fast ³  and pray, ⁴  and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, ⁵  but yours continue to eat and drink.” ⁶ 

Now ¹  Jesus ²  was praying in a certain place. When ³  he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John ⁴  taught ⁵  his disciples.”

Some of the disciples from Caesarea ¹  came along with us too, and brought us to the house ²  of Mnason of Cyprus, a disciple from the earliest times, ³  with whom we were to stay.

Now when John ¹  heard in prison about the deeds Christ ²  had done, he sent his disciples to ask a question: ³ 

And pointing ¹  toward his disciples he said, “Here ²  are my mother and my brothers!

Then John’s ¹  disciples came and took the body and buried it and went and told Jesus.

“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their ¹  hands when they eat.” ² 

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Do you know that when the Pharisees ¹  heard this saying they were offended?”

The disciples asked him, ¹  “Why then do the experts in the law ²  say that Elijah must come first?”

Then the disciples came ¹  to Jesus privately and said, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

At that time the disciples came to Jesus saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Now ¹  when they approached Jerusalem ²  and came to Bethphage, ³  at the Mount of Olives, ⁴  Jesus sent two disciples,

When the disciples saw it they were amazed, saying, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

So ¹  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole his body ¹  while we were asleep.’

So ¹  the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated.
