So ¹  they motioned ²  to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they were about to sink. ³ 

Then ¹  all the people of the Gerasenes ²  and the surrounding region ³  asked Jesus ⁴  to leave them alone, ⁵  for they were seized with great fear. ⁶  So ⁷  he got into the boat and left. ⁸ 

Simon Peter told them, “I am going fishing.” “We will go with you,” they replied. ¹  They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

He told them, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” ¹  So they threw the net, ²  and were not able to pull it in because of the large number of fish.

and as they sailed he fell asleep. Now a violent windstorm ¹  came down on the lake, ²  and the boat ³  started filling up with water, and they were in danger.

Then when the sailors tried to escape from the ship and were lowering the ship’s boat into the sea, pretending ¹  that they were going to put out anchors from the bow,

Instead the Lord will rule there as our mighty king. ¹  Rivers and wide streams will flow through it; ²  no war galley will enter; ³  no large ships will sail through. ⁴ 

But ¹  he was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. They woke him up and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are about to die?”

“Man, born of woman, ¹  lives but a few days, ²  and they are full of trouble. ³ 

After they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. ¹ 

Make a roof for the ark and finish it, leaving 18 inches ¹  from the top. ²  Put a door in the side of the ark, and make lower, middle, and upper decks.

male and female, came into the ark to Noah, ¹  just as God had commanded him. ² 

Pairs ¹  of all creatures ²  that have the breath of life came into the ark to Noah.

The waters completely overwhelmed ¹  the earth, and the ark floated ²  on the surface of the waters.

On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on one of the mountains of Ararat. ¹ 

At the end of forty days, ¹  Noah opened the window he had made in the ark ² 

“Come out of the ark, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons’ wives with you.

Noah went out along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives.

They glide by ¹  like reed ²  boats, like an eagle that swoops ³  down on its prey. ⁴ 

Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you lawbreakers!’ ¹
