Give instruction ¹  to a wise person, ²  and he will become wiser still; teach ³  a righteous person and he will add to his ⁴  learning.

Moreover, they will teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and show them how to distinguish between the ceremonially unclean and the clean. ¹ 

I said, ¹  “So now, ²  you wailing women, hear what the Lord says. ³  Open your ears to the words from his mouth. Teach your daughters this mournful song, and each of you teach your neighbor ⁴  this lament.

And he has put it in his heart ¹  to teach, he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Guide me into your truth ¹  and teach me. For you are the God who delivers me; on you I rely all day long.

Teach me how you want me to live; ¹  lead me along a level path ²  because of those who wait to ambush me! ³ 

O Lord, teach me how you want me to live! ¹  Then I will obey your commands. ²  Make me wholeheartedly committed to you! ³ 

Who is the Lord ¹  trying to teach? To whom is he explaining a message? ²  Those just weaned from milk! Those just taken from their mother’s breast! ³ 

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Then ¹  he began to teach ²  them by saying:

Tell us what we should ¹  say to him. We cannot prepare a case ²  because of the darkness.

I will instruct and teach you ¹  about how you should live. ²  I will advise you as I look you in the eye. ³ 

Now write down for yourselves the following song and teach it to the Israelites. Put it into their very mouths so that this song may serve as my witness against the Israelites!

“And there will be no need at all ¹  for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ since they will all know me, from the least to the greatest. ² 

But as for you, communicate the behavior that goes with ¹  sound teaching.

warn ¹  them of the statutes and the laws, and make known to them the way in which they must walk ²  and the work they must do. ³ 

Now Ezra had dedicated himself ¹  to the study of the law of the Lord, to its observance, and to teaching ²  its statutes and judgments in Israel.

As I urged you when I was leaving for Macedonia, stay on in Ephesus ¹  to instruct ²  certain people not to spread false teachings, ³ 

Now these are the commandments, ¹  statutes, and ordinances that the Lord your God instructed me to teach you so that you may carry them out in the land where you are headed ² 

Teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, ¹  as you lie down, and as you get up.
