Seven ¹  times a day I praise you because of your just regulations.

The Lord is just; he cut the ropes of the wicked.” ¹ 

The Lord is just in all his actions, ¹  and exhibits love in all he does. ² 

The memory ¹  of the righteous is a blessing, but the reputation ²  of the wicked will rot. ³ 

The righteous do not encounter ¹  any harm, ²  but the wicked are filled with calamity. ³ 

The delight of kings ¹  is righteous counsel, ²  and they love the one who speaks ³  uprightly. ⁴ 

The righteous person ¹  behaves in integrity; ²  blessed are his children after him. ³ 

But the righteous man holds to his way, and the one with clean hands grows stronger. ¹ 

May their names be deleted from the scroll of the living! ¹  Do not let their names be listed with the godly! ² 

I will give you sincere thanks, ¹  when I learn your just regulations.

The wicked person desires a stronghold, ¹  but the righteous root ²  endures. ³ 

The Righteous One ¹  considers ²  the house ³  of the wicked; he overthrows the wicked to their ruin. ⁴ 

Do not lie in wait like the wicked ¹  against the place where the righteous live; do not assault ²  his home.

In the transgression of an evil person there is a snare, ¹  but a righteous person can sing ²  and rejoice. ³ 

When the wicked increase, ¹  transgression increases, but the righteous will see ²  their downfall.

When a righteous man turns from his godliness and commits iniquity, he will die for it.

And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of ¹  the ungodly and sinners? ² 

so that on you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, ¹  whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

So these three men refused to answer ²  Job further, because he was righteous in his ³  own eyes.
