They believed his promises; ¹  they sang praises to him.

What the sluggard desires ¹  will kill him, ²  for his hands ³  refuse to work.

The whole earth rests and is quiet; they break into song.

An end comes ¹  – the end comes! ²  It has awakened against you ³  – the end is upon you! Look, it is coming! ⁴
