Just then, ¹  while she was still speaking to the king, Nathan the prophet arrived.

Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them about John the Baptist.

Peter ¹  continued talking with him as he went in, and he found many people gathered together. ² 

As he was speaking with them, the champion named Goliath, the Philistine from Gath, was coming up from the battle lines of the Philistines. He spoke the way he usually did, ¹  and David heard it.

As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a fiery chariot ¹  pulled by fiery horses appeared. ²  They went between Elijah and Elisha, ³  and Elijah went up to heaven in a windstorm.

He was still talking to them when ¹  the messenger approached ²  and said, “Look, the Lord is responsible for this disaster! ³  Why should I continue to wait for the Lord to help?”

When ¹  the chief priests and the Pharisees ²  heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them.

While Jesus ¹  was still speaking to the crowds, ²  his mother and brothers ³  came and ⁴  stood outside, asking ⁵  to speak to him.

How could you not understand that I was not speaking to you about bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!”

And even if I am unskilled ¹  in speaking, yet I am certainly not so in knowledge. Indeed, we have made this plain to you in everything in every way.

“How long until you ¹  make an end of words? ²  You must consider, ³  and then ⁴  we can talk.

The disciples began to look at one another, worried and perplexed ¹  to know which of them he was talking about.

for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising ¹  God. Then Peter said,

Some have strayed from these and turned away to empty discussion.

Teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, ¹  as you lie down, and as you get up.

While ¹  Saul spoke to the priest, the panic in the Philistines’ camp was becoming greater and greater. So Saul said to the priest, “Withdraw your hand!”

Are they servants of Christ? (I am talking like I am out of my mind!) I am even more so: with much greater labors, with far more imprisonments, with more severe beatings, facing death many times.

While he was still speaking with them, Rachel arrived with her father’s sheep, for she was tending them. ¹ 

When David ¹  had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan and David became bound together in close friendship. ²  Jonathan loved David as much as he did his own life. ³ 

Then I asked one nearby, “What are these, sir?” The angelic messenger ¹  who replied to me said, “I will show you what these are.”
