Every conversion value must be calculated by the standard of the sanctuary shekel; ¹  twenty gerahs to the shekel.

In the west, people respect ¹  the Lord’s reputation; ²  in the east they recognize his splendor. ³  For he comes like a rushing ⁴  stream driven on by wind sent from the Lord. ⁵ 

Come through! Come through the gates! Prepare the way for the people! Build it! Build the roadway! Remove the stones! Lift a signal flag for the nations!

For by the standard you judge you will be judged, and the measure you use will be the measure you receive. ¹ 

But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed ¹  from the heart that pattern ²  of teaching you were entrusted to,

He also measured its wall, one hundred forty-four cubits ¹  according to human measurement, which is also the angel’s. ² 

He then presented the burnt offering, and did it according to the standard regulation. ¹

So Abraham agreed to Ephron’s price ¹  and weighed ²  out for him ³  the price ⁴  that Ephron had quoted ⁵  in the hearing of the sons of Heth – 400 pieces of silver, according to the standard measurement at the time. ⁶ 

And those that must be redeemed you are to redeem when they are a month old, according to your estimation, for five shekels of silver according to the sanctuary shekel (which is twenty gerahs).

and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, all weighed ¹  according to the sanctuary shekel, and four quarts ²  of olive oil.

You have given your loyal followers ¹  a rallying flag, so that they might seek safety from the bow. ²  (Selah)

Honest scales and balances ¹  are from the Lord; all the weights ²  in the bag are his handiwork.

And after agreeing with the workers for the standard wage, ¹  he sent them into his vineyard.

And when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more. But each one also received the standard wage.

Now ¹  I want you to know, brothers and sisters, ²  that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. ³ 

In my zeal for God I persecuted the church. According to the righteousness stipulated in the law I was blameless.
