The tree grew large and strong. Its top reached far into the sky; it could be seen ¹  from the borders of all the land. ² 

The tree that you saw that grew large and strong, whose top reached to the sky, and which could be seen ¹  in all the land,

For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including ¹  more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase ²  to the glory of God.

The sins of some people are obvious, going before them into judgment, but for others, they show up later. ¹ 

Therefore we must be wary ¹  that, while the promise of entering his rest remains open, none of you may seem to have come short of it.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain, ¹ 

Then ¹  the winepress was stomped ²  outside the city, and blood poured out of the winepress up to the height of horses’ bridles ³  for a distance of almost two hundred miles. ⁴

If two men ¹  get into a hand-to-hand fight, and the wife of one of them gets involved to help her husband against his attacker, and she reaches out her hand and grabs his genitals, ² 

The one who committed manslaughter ¹  should escape to one of these cities, stand at the entrance of the city gate, and present his case to the leaders of that city. ²  They should then bring him into the city, give him a place to stay, and let him live there. ³

It grew so big it reached the army ¹  of heaven, and it brought about the fall of some of the army and some of the stars ²  to the ground, where it trampled them.

Then ¹  they came to Jerusalem. ²  Jesus ³  entered the temple area ⁴  and began to drive out those who were selling and buying in the temple courts. ⁵  He turned over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves,

For I tell you that this scripture must be ¹  fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors.’ ²  For what is written about me is being fulfilled.” ³
