Rely ¹  on the Lord! Be strong and confident! ²  Rely on the Lord!

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient ¹  and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. ² 

For I say, “Loyal love is permanently established; ¹  in the skies you set up your faithfulness.” ² 

¹ The Lord supports all who fall, and lifts up all who are bent over. ² 

Starting a quarrel ¹  is like letting out water; ²  stop it before strife breaks out! ³ 

Stop trusting in human beings, whose life’s breath is in their nostrils. For why should they be given special consideration?

You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you. ¹
