“Therefore you will say to them, ¹  ‘When you offer up ²  the best of it, then it will be credited to the Levites as the product of the threshing floor and as the product of the winepress.

My Father is honored ¹  by this, that ²  you bear ³  much fruit and show that you are ⁴  my disciples.

When ¹  the magicians attempted ²  to bring forth gnats by their secret arts, they could not. So there were gnats on people and on animals.

Because that year is a jubilee, it will be holy to you – you may eat its produce ¹  from the field.

I will command my blessing for you in the sixth year so that it may yield ¹  the produce ²  for three years,

Your strength will be used up in vain, your land will not give its yield, and the trees of the land ¹  will not produce their fruit.

Our storehouses ¹  will be full, providing all kinds of food. ²  Our sheep will multiply by the thousands and fill ³  our pastures. ⁴ 

I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the produce of the fields, so that you will never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations.

The remainder of the length alongside the holy allotment will be three and one-third miles ¹  to the east and three and one-third miles toward the west, and it will be beside the holy allotment. Its produce will be for food for the workers of the city.

For this reason I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people ¹  who will produce its fruit.

¹ “For six years ²  you are to sow your land and gather in its produce.

with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

with the best ¹  of the ancient mountains and the harvest produced by the age-old hills;

then let me sow ¹  and let another eat, and let my crops ²  be uprooted.

For the hills bring it food, ¹  where all the wild animals play.

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

But reject foolish and ignorant ¹  controversies, because you know they breed infighting. ² 

He enabled him ¹  to travel over the high terrain of the land, and he ate of the produce of the fields. He provided honey for him from the cliffs, ²  and olive oil ³  from the hardest of ⁴  rocks, ⁵ 

They invaded the land ¹  and devoured ²  its crops ³  all the way to Gaza. They left nothing for the Israelites to eat, ⁴  and they took away ⁵  the sheep, oxen, and donkeys.
