In the month Ziv ¹  of the fourth year of Solomon’s reign ²  the foundation was laid for the Lord’s temple.

In the seventh month of that very same year ¹  the prophet Hananiah died.

This took place on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month of King Darius’ second year. ¹ 

In the first month, ¹  from the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you will eat bread made without yeast until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.

It lasted until the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year. ¹  On that day they broke through the city walls.

Observe the month Abib ¹  and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in that month ²  he ³  brought you out of Egypt by night.

On the first day of the first month he had determined to make ¹  the ascent from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he arrived at Jerusalem, ²  for the good hand of his God was on him.

“On the first day of the first month you are to set up ¹  the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

And on the fifteenth day of this month is the festival. For seven days bread made without yeast must be eaten.

He began building on the second day of the second month of the fourth year of his reign. ¹ 

All the men of Israel assembled before the king during the festival ¹  in the seventh month. ²
