It wraps its roots around a heap ¹  of stones ²  and it looks ³  for a place among stones. ⁴ 

“How long until you ¹  make an end of words? ²  You must consider, ³  and then ⁴  we can talk.

And another man ¹  dies in bitterness of soul, ²  never having tasted ³  anything good.

Men ¹  move boundary stones; they seize the flock and pasture them. ² 

Because I give ¹  you good instruction, ²  do not forsake my teaching.

The discerning person ¹  acquires knowledge, and the wise person ²  seeks ³  knowledge.

“It’s worthless! It’s worthless!” ¹  says the buyer, ²  but when he goes on his way, he boasts. ³ 

She is like ¹  the merchant ships; ²  she brings her food from afar.

and elaborate greetings ¹  in the marketplaces, and to have people call them ‘Rabbi.’

and he begins to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with drunkards,

When ¹  Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but that instead a riot was starting, he took some water, washed his hands before the crowd and said, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. You take care of it yourselves!” ² 

There on the hillside, ¹  a great herd of pigs was feeding.

However, no one spoke openly about him for fear of the Jewish leaders. ¹ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I performed one miracle ²  and you are all amazed. ³ 

Then the disciples replied, ¹  “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) ¹  said,

I thank God ¹  that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,

If they were all the same member, where would the body be?

As a result, ¹  death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. ² 

You were running well; who prevented you from obeying ¹  the truth?
