But the news about him spread even more, ¹  and large crowds were gathering together to hear him ²  and to be healed of their illnesses.

In those days ¹  Peter stood up among the believers ²  (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty people) and said,

Chariots and horsemen also went up with him, so it was a very large entourage. ¹ 

Your maxims ¹  are proverbs of ashes; ²  your defenses ³  are defenses of clay. ⁴ 

I rejoice in the lifestyle prescribed by your rules ¹  as if ²  they were riches of all kinds. ³ 

The Lord rebuilds Jerusalem, ¹  and gathers the exiles of Israel.

“They cry, ¹  ‘Harvest time has come and gone, and the summer is over, ²  and still we have not been delivered.’

The elders are gone from the city gate; the young men have stopped playing their music.

Now all the tax collectors ¹  and sinners were coming ²  to hear him.

Peter ¹  continued talking with him as he went in, and he found many people gathered together. ² 

Threshing season will extend for you until the season for harvesting grapes, ¹  and the season for harvesting grapes will extend until sowing season, so ²  you will eat your bread until you are satisfied, ³  and you will live securely in your land.

So they asked, “Who from all the Israelite tribes did not assemble before the Lord at Mizpah?” Now it just so happened no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the gathering. ¹ 

It will be as when one gathers the grain harvest, and his hand gleans the ear of grain. It will be like one gathering the ears of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.

Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked ¹  the unclean spirit, ²  saying to it, “Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

at the head of the noisy ¹  streets she calls, in the entrances of the gates in the city ²  she utters her words: ³ 

When ¹  he saw the crowds, he went up the mountain. ²  After he sat down his disciples came to him.

Jesus ¹  went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

After he took the children in his arms, he placed his hands on them and blessed them.

So when they were dismissed, ¹  they went down to Antioch, ²  and after gathering the entire group ³  together, they delivered the letter.

After he had gone through those regions ¹  and spoken many words of encouragement ²  to the believers there, ³  he came to Greece, ⁴
