and that you may drive out all your enemies just as the Lord said.

So Uriah the priest did exactly as ¹  King Ahaz ordered.

Therefore I say, ‘Listen ¹  to me. I, even I, will explain what I know.’

He granted their request, then struck them with a disease. ¹
