Surely ¹  those favored by the Lord ²  will possess the land, but those rejected ³  by him will be wiped out. ⁴ 

God says, ¹  “I will bring down all the power of the wicked; the godly will be victorious.” ² 

It is burned ¹  and cut down. They die because you are displeased with them. ² 

May his descendants ¹  be cut off! ²  May the memory of them be wiped out by the time the next generation arrives! ³ 

The speech ¹  of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, ²  but the one who speaks perversion ³  will be destroyed. ⁴

Then ¹  one of them ²  struck the high priest’s slave, ³  cutting off his right ear.

Above the foundation ¹  the best ²  stones, chiseled to the right size, ³  were used along with cedar.
