Next I noticed the man dressed in linen with the writing kit at his side bringing back word: “I have done just as you commanded me.”

I looked up ¹  and saw a ²  man ³  clothed in linen; ⁴  around his waist was a belt made of gold from Upaz. ⁵ 

and in the midst of the lampstands was one like a son of man. ¹  He was dressed in a robe extending down to his feet and he wore a wide golden belt ²  around his chest.

And I will grant my two witnesses authority ¹  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

saying, “Woe, woe, O great city – dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet clothing, ¹  and adorned with gold, ²  precious stones, and pearls –

Then ¹  a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and with the moon under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars. ² 

Then you turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and covered me with joy. ¹ 

“There was a rich man who dressed in purple ¹  and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously ²  every day.

The ¹  armies that are in heaven, dressed in white, clean, fine linen, ²  were following him on white horses.

Now ascend, O Lord God, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength! May your priests, O Lord God, experience your deliverance! ¹  May your loyal followers rejoice in the prosperity you give! ² 

The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty, the Lord is robed, he wears strength around his waist. ²  Indeed, the world is established, it cannot be moved.

They came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man sitting there, clothed and in his right mind – the one who had the “Legion” – and they were afraid.

The meadows are clothed with sheep, and the valleys are covered with grain. They shout joyfully, yes, they sing.

He made cursing a way of life, ¹  so curses poured into his stomach like water and seeped into his bones like oil. ² 

She lusted after the Assyrians – governors and officials, warriors in full armor, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.

I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

John wore a garment made of camel’s hair with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. ¹ 

And look, I am sending you ¹  what my Father promised. ²  But stay in the city ³  until you have been clothed with power ⁴  from on high.”

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean bright linen, wearing wide golden belts ¹  around their chests.

David was wrapped in a linen robe, as were all the Levites carrying the ark, the musicians, and Kenaniah the supervisor of transport and the musicians; ¹  David also wore a linen ephod. ²
