The seacoast ¹  will be used as pasture lands ²  by the shepherds and as pens for their flocks.

It came between the Egyptian camp and the Israelite camp; it was a dark cloud ¹  and it lit up the night so that one camp did not come near the other ²  the whole night. ³ 

Now Jair son of Manasseh went and captured their small towns and named them Havvoth Jair.

Then Nobah went and captured Kenath and its villages and called it Nobah after his own name.

When the Israelites returned from their hot pursuit of the Philistines, they looted their camp.

Kings leading armies run away – they run away! ¹  The lovely lady ²  of the house divides up the loot.

Moab, you are doomed! ¹  You people who worship Chemosh will be destroyed. Your sons will be taken away captive. Your daughters will be carried away into exile. ²
