He is like ¹  a tree planted by flowing streams; ²  it ³  yields ⁴  its fruit at the proper time, ⁵  and its leaves never fall off. ⁶  He succeeds in everything he attempts. ⁷ 

When they ¹  moved, they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved; in the direction the head would turn they would follow ²  without turning as they moved,

Then Haggai responded, “‘The people of this nation are unclean in my sight,’ ¹  says the Lord. ‘And so is all their effort; everything they offer is also unclean. ² 

As Jesus looked at him, he felt love for him and said, “You lack one thing. Go, sell whatever you have and give the money ¹  to the poor, and you will have treasure ²  in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

¹ Therefore ²  you are without excuse, ³  whoever you are, ⁴  when you judge someone else. ⁵  For on whatever grounds ⁶  you judge another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge practice the same things.

Every living creature, every creeping thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth went out of the ark in their groups.

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

However, a spring or a cistern which collects water ¹  will be clean, but one who touches their carcass will be unclean.

It must be eaten on the day of your sacrifice and on the following day, ¹  but what is left over until the third day must be burned up. ² 

your cattle, and the wild animals that are in your land – all its produce will be for you ¹  to eat.

The leaders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “The Lord will judge any grievance you have against us, ¹  if we do not do as you say.” ² 

The old man said, “Everything is just fine! ¹  I will take care of all your needs. But don’t spend the night in the town square.”

All the people noticed this and it pleased them. ¹  In fact, everything the king did pleased all the people.

However, if he should say, ‘I do not take pleasure in you,’ then he will deal with me in a way that he considers appropriate.” ¹ 

I will select ¹  you; you will rule over all you desire to have and you will be king over Israel.

The priests should receive the silver they need from the treasurers and repair any damage to the temple they discover.” ¹ 

Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather there with us. Our God will fight for us!”

They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go and work in the vineyard too.’

For nothing is hidden except to be revealed, ¹  and nothing concealed except to be brought to light.

They also bestowed many honors, ¹  and when we were preparing to sail, ²  they gave ³  us all the supplies we needed. ⁴
