[Rom 12:1] All For Jesus
All for Jesus, all for Jesus!
All my being’s ransomed powers:
All my thoughts and words and doings,
All my days and all my hours.Refrain
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours;
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours.Let my hands perform His bidding,
Let my feet run in His ways;
Let my eyes see Jesus only,
Let my lips speak forth His praise.Refrain
Worldlings prize their gems of beauty,
Cling to gilded toys of dust,
Boast of wealth and fame and pleasure;
Only Jesus will I trust.Refrain
Since my eyes were fixed on Jesus,
I’ve lost sight of all beside;
So enchained my spirit’s vision,
Looking at the Crucified.Refrain
Oh, what wonder! how amazing!
Jesus, glorious King of kings,
Deigns to call me His belovèd,
Lets me rest beneath His wings.Refrain

[Rom 12:1] Is Your All On The Altar?
You have longed for sweet peace,
And for faith to increase,
And have earnestly, fervently prayed;
But you cannot have rest,
Or be perfectly blest,
Until all on the altar is laid.Refrain
Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?
Your heart does the Spirit control?
You can only be blest,
And have peace and sweet rest,
As you yield Him your body and soul.Would you walk with the Lord,
In the light of His Word,
And have peace and contentment alway?
You must do His sweet will,
To be free from all ill,
On the altar your all you must lay.Refrain
O we never can know
What the Lord will bestow
Of the blessings for which we have prayed,
Till our body and soul
He doth fully control,
And our all on the altar is laid.Refrain
Who can tell all the love
He will send from above,
And how happy our hearts will be made,
Of the fellowship sweet
We shall share at His feet,
When our all on the altar is laid.Refrain

[Rom 12:1] Take My Life And Let It Be
Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.
Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 12:2] Transformed
Simply trusting all the way,
Taking Jesus at His Word;
Simply trusting, when I pray,
Every promise of my Lord.Refrain
Simply trusting, simply trusting,
Trusting Jesus, that is all;
To the cross of Christ I cling;
Simply trusting, that is all.Trusting when my sky is bright,
Trusting when my heart is glad;
Trusting in the gloom of night,
When my every thought is sad.Refrain
Trusting when ’tis well with me,
Trusting whatsoe’er befall;
Trusting Jesus’ love for me,
Simply trusting, that is all.Refrain

[Rom 12:10] My Master Was A Worker
My Master was a worker,
With daily work to do,
And he who would be like Him
Must be a worker, too.
Then welcome honest labor,
And honest labor’s fare,
For where there is a worker,
The Master’s man is there.My Master was a comrade,
A trusty friend and true,
And he who would be like Him,
Must be a comrade, too.
In happy hour of singing,
In silent hours of care,
Where goes a loyal comrade,
The Master’s man is there.My Master was a helper,
The woes of life He knew,
And he who would be like Him
Must be a helper, too.
The burden will grow lighter,
If each will take a share,
And where there is a helper,
The Master’s man is there.Then, brothers brave and manly,
Together let us be,
For He, who is our Master,
The Man of men was He.
The men who would be like Him
Are wanted everywhere,
And where they love each other
The Master’s men are there.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 12:12] Come On, My Partners In Distress
Come on, my partners in distress,
My comrades through the wilderness,
Who still your bodies feel;
Awhile forget your griefs and fears,
And look beyond the vale of tears,
To that celestial hill.Beyond the bounds of time and space,
Look forward to that happy place,
The saints’ secure abode;
On faith’s strong eagle pinions rise,
And force your passage to the skies,
And scale the mount of God.See where the Lamb in glory stands,
Encircled with His radiant bands,
And join the angelic powers.
For all that height of glorious bliss,
Our everlasting portion is,
And all that Heaven is ours.Who suffer with our Master here,
We shall before His face appear
And by His side sit down;
To patient faith the prize is sure,
And all that to the end endure
The cross, shall wear the crown.Thrice blessèd, bliss-inspiring hope!
It lifts the fainting spirits up,
It brings to life the dead;
Our conflicts here shall soon be past,
And you and I ascend at last,
Triumphant with our Head.That great mysterious Deity
We soon with open face shall see;
The beatific sight
Shall fill the heavenly courts with praise,
And wide diffuse the golden blaze
Of everlasting light.The Father shining on His throne,
The glorious co-eternal Son,
The Spirit one and seven,
Conspire our rapture to complete;
And lo! we fall before His feet,
And silence heightens Heaven.In hope of that ecstatic pause,
Jesus, we now sustain Thy cross,
And at Thy footstool fall,
’Till Thou our hidden life reveal,
’Till Thou our ravished spirits fill,
And God is all in all.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 13:1] Christ, By Heavenly Hosts Adored
Christ, by heav’nly hosts adored,
Gracious, mighty, sovereign Lord,
God of nations, King of kings,
Head of all created things,
By the Church with joy confessed,
God o’er all, forever blessed.
Pleading at Thy throne we stand,
Save Thy people, bless our land.On our fields of grass and grain
Send, O Lord, the kindly rain;
O’er our wide and goodly land
Crown the labors of each hand.
Let Thy kind protection be
O’er our commerce on the sea.
Open, Lord, Thy bounteous hand;
Bless Thy people, bless our land.Let our rulers ever be
Men that love and honor Thee;
Let the powers by Thee ordained
Be in righteousness maintained.
In the people’s hearts increase
Love of piety and peace.
Thus united, may we stand
One wide, free, and happy land.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 13:11] We Are Nearing
We are drifting towards the waters
Of a calm and tranquil sea,
And we soon shall anchor safely
In that port where we should be.Refrain

Nearing the golden strand;
We are nearing, we are nearing,
Nearing the soul’s bright land.We are drifting from the sorrows
That for us will soon be o’er;
We are drifting from the trials
That will vex the heart no more.Refrain
We are drifting from the shadows
Into pure and perfect day;
’Tis the Savior guides our vessel,
And His presence cheers our way.Refrain

When our happy souls shall rest,
By the fount of life eternal,
With the ransomed ever blest.Refrain

Get ready to welcome the King;
The night is far spent, the day dawns at length,

He humbled Himself to die on the cross,

[Rom 13:12] Night Is Far Spent, The
The night is far spent, the day is at hand;
Already the dawn may be seen in the sky;
Rejoice then, ye saints, ’tis your Lord’s own command;
Rejoice, for the coming of Jesus draws nigh.How bright it will be, when Jesus appears!
How welcome to those who have shared in His cross!
A crown incorruptible then will be theirs,
A rich compensation for suffering and loss.Affliction is light compared to the day
Of glory that then will from Heaven be revealed!
“The Savior is coming,” His people may say,
“The Lord whom we look for, our Sun and our Shield.”O pardon us, Lord, that love to Thy Name
Is faint, with so much our affections to move!
Our deadness shall fill us with grief and with shame,
So much to be loved and so little to love!O kindle within us holy desire,
Like that which was found in Thy people of old!
Who felt all Thy love, and whose hearts were on fire,
While waiting in patience Thy face to behold!Play source: Cyberhymnal -

All of my burden He doth bear.
Friends may forsake me; He’ll be true.
Trusting in Him, He’ll guide me through.Refrain

Into His glory I have passed;
There to behold Him on His throne,
Hear from His lips, “My child, well done!”Refrain

Living or dying, to know I am Thine.Refrain
Yes, I am Thine, Lord, I am Thine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.Out in the sunshine, though shadows may fall,

[Rom 14:8] We Are The Lord’s
We are the Lord’s; His all sufficient merit,
Sealed on the cross, to us this grace accords.
We are the Lord’s and all things shall inherit;
Whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.We are the Lord’s; then let us gladly tender
Our souls to Him in deeds, not empty words.
Let heart and tongue and life combine to render
No doubtful witness that we are the Lord’s.We are the Lord’s; no darkness brooding o’er us
Can make us tremble while this star affords
A steady light along the path before us—
Faith’s full assurance that we are the Lord’s.We are the Lord’s; no evil can befall us
In the dread hour of life’s fast loosening cords;
No pangs of death shall even then appall us.
Death we shall vanquish, for we are the Lord’s.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 14:12] The Old Account Was Settled
There was a time on earth, when in the book of Heav’n
An old account was standing for sins yet unforgiv’n;
My name was at the top, and many things below,
I went unto the Keeper, and settled long ago.Refrain
Long ago (down on my knees), long ago (I settled it all),
Yes, the old account was settled long ago (Hallelujah!);
And the record’s clear today, for He washed my sins away,
When the old account was settled long ago.The old account was large, and growing every day,
For I was always sinning, and never tried to pay;
But when I looked ahead, and saw such pain and woe,
I said that I would settle, I settled long ago.Refrain
When in that happy home, my Savior’s home above,
I’ll sing redemption’s story, and praise Him for His love;
I’ll not forget that book, with pages white as snow,
Because I came and settled, and settled long ago.Refrain
O sinner, trust the Lord, be cleansed of all your sin,
For thus He hath provided for you to enter in;
And then if you should live a hundred years below,
Up there you’ll not regret it, you settled long ago.Refrain

And mercy sufficient alway.Refrain

[Rom 14:18] It May Not Be Our Lot
It may not be our lot to wield
The sickle in the ripened field;
Nor ours to hear, on summer eves,
The reaper’s song among the sheaves.Yet where our duty’s task is wrought
In unison with God’s great thought,
The near and future blend in one,
And whatsoe’er is willed, is done.And ours the grateful service whence
Comes, day by day, the recompense;
The hope, the trust, the purpose stayed,
The fountain, and the noonday shade.And were this lift the utmost span,
The only end and aim of man,
Better the toil of fields like these
Than waking dream and slotfhful ease.But life, though falling like our grain,
Like that revives and springs again;
And, early called, how blest are they
Who wait in heaven, their harvest day!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 15:4] Wonderful Book
Word of the Father, O light from on high,
Wonderful book, wonderful book,
Guide to our glorious home in the sky,
Wonderful book of life.Refrain

To high and lowly a treasure most holy,
A jewel so rare, balm for all care,
Gift of the Father, wonderful book of life.Bread for our souls such a bountiful store,
Wonderful book, wonderful book,
Feasting on thee we shall hunger no more,
Wonderful book of life.Refrain
Stream by the wayside from fountains above,
Wonderful book, wonderful book,
Bathing our spirits in infinite love,
Wonderful book of life.Refrain

[Rom 15:7] In Homes Where Pride And Splendor
In homes where pride and splendor
Their silken banners flare,
In homes where childhood tender
Is crushed by every care,
Is heard the cry of anguish
From many a helpless slave,
Where Satan’s captives languish,
And only Christ can save.What tho’ our flag in glory
Floats over freedom’s land,
While degradation’s story
Is writ on every hand,
While in the marts of labor,
In lordly halls of state,
The Christlike love of neighbor
Is lost in greed and hate?Shall we, to whom is given
For sin the only cure,
Vouchsafed to earth by Heaven,
While nations shall endure;
Shall we, in this her trial,
Forget our nation’s weal,
Endure no self denial,
Be wanting in our zeal?O God, whilst evil lowers
In clouds of sin and shame,
May these cold hearts of ours
Burst into living flame,
To light and lead our nation
In this her time of need,
Until in Christ’s salvation
She shall be free indeed.source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rom 15:8] We Limit Not The Truth Of God
We limit not the truth of God
To our poor reach of mind,
By notions of our day and sect,
Crude, partial, and confined.
No, let a new and better hope
Within our hearts be stirred:Refrain
The Lord hath yet more light and truth
To break forth from His Word.Darkling our great forefathers went
The first steps of the way;
’Twas but the dawning yet to grow
Into the perfect day.
And grow it shall, our glorious sun
More fervid rays afford:Refrain
The valleys passed, ascending still,
Our souls would higher climb,
And look down from supernal heights
On all the bygone time.
Upward we press, the air is clear,
And the sphere-music heard:Refrain
O Father, Son, and Spirit, send
Us increase from above;
Enlarge, expand all Christian souls
To comprehend Thy love,
And make us to go on, to know
With nobler powers conferred:Refrain

I am rejoicing, trusting and hoping;
Looking to Jesus, Savior divine;
He is my refuge; softly He whispers,
“I have redeemed thee, child, thou art Mine.”Refrain
I am rejoicing, ever rejoicing,
Trusting and hoping all the day long;
Looking to Jesus, only to Jesus;
He is my refuge, comfort and song.I am rejoicing, trusting and hoping;
He is my Savior; what shall I fear?
He like a shepherd leadeth me gently,
Close by the waters flowing so clear.Refrain

Clothed in His brightness, He will receive me,
Heir to His kingdom, child of His love.Refrain
