Numbers 16:2

Context
16:2 and rebelled against Moses, along with some of the Israelites, 250 leaders¹ of the community, chosen from the assembly,² famous men.³

Numbers 16:17

Context
16:17 And each of you⁴ take his censer, put⁵ incense in it, and then each of you present his censer before the Lord: 250 censers, along with you, and Aaron – each of you with his censer.”

16:35 Then a fire⁶ went out from the Lord and devoured the 250 men who offered incense.

¹tn Heb “princes” (so KJV, ASV).

²tn These men must have been counselors or judges of some kind.

³tn Heb “men of name,” or “men of renown.”

⁴tn Heb “and take, a man, his censer.”

⁵tn This verb and the following one are both perfect tenses with vav (ו) consecutives. Following the imperative they carry the same force, but in sequence.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
