Context2:36 There was also a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, 6 having been married to her husband for seven years until his death.

sn The temple courts is a reference to the larger temple area, not the holy place. Simeon was either in the court of the Gentiles or the court of women, since Mary was present.
