• [Eph 1:21] Christ, Above All Glory Seated

  Christ, above all glory seated! King triumphant, strong to save! Dying, Thou hast death defeated; Buried, Thou hast spoiled the grave. Thou art gone, where now is given What no mortal might could gain, On the eternal throne of Heaven, In Thy Father’s power to reign. There Thy kingdoms all adore Thee, Heaven above and earth below; While the depths of hell before Thee Trembling and defeated bow. We, O Lord, with hearts adoring Follow Thee above the sky! Hear our prayers Thy grace imploring, Lift our souls to Thee on high. So when Thou again in glory On the clouds of Heaven shalt shine, We Thy flock may stand before Thee, Owned for evermore as Thine. Hail! all hail! in Thee confiding, Jesus, Thee shall all adore, In Thy Father’s might abiding With one Spirit evermore!

  Jesus! Name of wondrous love! Name all other names above! Unto which must every knee Bow in deep humility. Jesus! Name of priceless worth To the fallen sons of earth, For the promise that it gave— “Jesus shall His people save.” Jesus! Name decreed of old, To the maiden mother told— Kneeling in her lowly cell— By the angel Gabriel. Jesus! Name of mercy mild, Given to the holy Child, When the cup of human woe First He tasted here below. Jesus! Only name that’s given Under all the mighty heaven, Whereby man, to sin enslaved, Bursts his fetters, and is saved. Jesus! Name of wondrous love, Human name of God above! Pleading only this, we flee, Helpless, O our God, to Thee.

• [Eph 2:4] The Lord Is Rich And Merciful

  The Lord is rich and merciful, The Lord is very kind; O come to Him, come now to Him, With a believing mind! His comforts, they shall strengthen thee, Like flowing waters cool; And He shall for thy spirit be A fountain ever full. The Lord is glorious and strong Our God is very high; O trust in Him, trust now in Him, And have security; He shall be to thee like the sea, And thou shalt surely feel His wind, that bloweth healthily Thy sicknesses to heal. The Lord is wonderful and wise, As all the ages tell; O learn of Him, learn now of Him, Then with thee it is well; And with His light thou shalt be blest, Therein to work and live; And He shall be to thee a rest When evening hours arrive.
