  Thou Power and Peace, in whom we find All holiest strength, all purest love, The rushing of the mighty wind, The brooding of the gentle dove. Forever lend Thy sovereign aid, And urge us on, and keep us Thine; Nor leave the hearts which Thou hast made, Fit temples of Thy grace divine. Nor let us quench Thy saving light; But still with softest breathings stir, Our wayward souls, and lead us right, O Holy Spirit, Comforter!

• [Rom 5:15] O Gift Of Gifts!

  O gift of gifts! O grace of faith! My God, how can it be That Thou, who hast discerning love Shouldst give that gift to me? How many hearts Thou mightst have had More innocent than mine, How many souls more worthy far Of that sweet touch of Thine! Ah, grace, unto unlikeliest hearts It is thy boast to come; The glory of thy light to find In darkest spots a home. How can they live, how will they die, How bear the cross of grief, Who have not yet the light of faith, The courage of belief? The crowd of cares, the weightiest cross, Seems trifles less than light: Earth looks so little and so low When faith shines full and bright. O happy, happy that I am! If thou canst be, O faith, The treasure that thou art in life, What will thou be in death?

• [Rom 5:20] Grace Greater Than Our Sin

  Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt! Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured, There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled. Refrain Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within; Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin. Sin and despair, like the sea waves cold, Threaten the soul with infinite loss; Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold, Points to the refuge, the mighty cross. Refrain Dark is the stain that we cannot hide. What can avail to wash it away? Look! There is flowing a crimson tide, Brighter than snow you may be today.   O what a wonderful Savior In Jesus, my Lord, I have found! Tho’ I had sins without number, His grace unto me did abound. Refrain His grace aboundeth more. His grace aboundeth more. Tho’ sin abounded in my heart, His grace aboundeth more. When a poor sinner He found me; No goodness to offer had I. Often His law I had broken And merited naught but to die.
