4:21 He was¹ fully convinced that what God² promised he was also able to do.

Romans 14:6

Context
14:6 The one who observes the day does it for the Lord. The³ one who eats, eats for the Lord because he gives thanks to God, and the one who abstains from eating abstains for the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.

¹tn Grk “and being.” Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.

²tn Grk “he”; the referent (God) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

³tn Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style.

range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
