Romans 2:10

2:10 but 1  glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, for the Jew first and also the Greek.

Romans 4:20

4:20 He 2  did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Romans 8:18

8:18 For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared 3  to the glory that will be revealed to us.

Romans 11:36

Context

11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

1 tn Grk “but even,” to emphasize the contrast. The second word has been omitted since it is somewhat redundant in English idiom.

2 tn Grk “And he.” Because of the difference between Greek style, which often begins sentences or clauses with “and,” and English style, which generally does not, δέ (de) has not been translated here.

3 tn Grk “are not worthy [to be compared].”
