Revelation 5:13

[Rev 5:13] Countless Multitudes On High, The
The countless multitudes on high,
Who tune their songs to Jesus’ Name,
All merit of their own deny,
And Jesus’ worth alone proclaim.Firm on the ground of sovereign grace
They stand before Jehovah’s throne;
The new song in that blessèd place
Is, “Thou art worthy, Thou alone!”With spotless robes of purest white,
And branches of triumphal palm,
They shout, with transports of delight,
Heaven’s ceaseless, universal psalm;“Salvation’s glory all be paid
To Him who sits upon the throne,
And to the Lamb whose blood was shed:
Thou, Thou art worthy, Thou alone;For Thou was slain, and in Thy blood
These robes were washed so spotless pure!
Thou mad’st us kings and priests to God:
For ever let Thy praise endure!”While thus the ransomed myriads shout,
“Amen!” the holy angels cry—
Amen! Amen! resounds throughout
The boundless regions of the sky.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 5:13] O For A Sweet, Inspiring Ray
O for a sweet, inspiring ray,
To animate our feeble strains,
From the bright realms of endless day,
The blissful realms where Jesus reigns.There low before the glorious throne,
Adoring saints and angels fall!
And with delightful worship own
His smile their bliss, their heav’n, their all.Immortal glories crown His head,
While tuneful hallelujahs rise,
And love, and joy, and triumph spread,
Thro’ all th’assemblies of the skies.He smiles, and seraphs tune their songs,
To boundless rapture while they gaze;
Ten thousand, joyful tongues
Resound His everlasting praise.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 5:13] See The Ransomed Millions Stand
See the ransomed millions stand,
Palms of conquest in their hand;
This before the throne their strain,
“Hell is vanquished, death is slain;
Blessing, honor, glory, might,
Are the Conqueror’s native right;
Thrones and powers before Him fall,
Lamb of God and Lord of all!”Hasten, Lord the promised hour;
Come in glory and in power;
Still Thy foes are unsubdued;
Nature sighs to be renewed.
Time has nearly reached its sum;
All things, with Thy bride, say “Come”;
Jesus, whom all worlds adore,
Come, and reign forevermore.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 5:13] Thro’ The New Heav’n What Voices Ring
Thro’ the new Heav’n what voices ring
In praise triumphant to our King?
Like many waters, hark, they pour
Their tide along the golden shore!
“All blessing, honor, power divine,
All might and majesty be Thine!
Holy and true are all Thy words,
Thou King of kings and Lord of lords!”These from the martyrs bed of flame,
These from the gloomy dungeon came,
These, on the dreadful battlefield,
Stood firm till death and would not yield.
All voices in that faithful throng,
Swell clear and true the glorious song;
“Holy and true are all Thy words,
Thou King of kings and Lord of lords!”These bore Thy banner o’er the sea,
Exiled and poor for love of Thee,
And found in danger and distress,
Thy presence in the wilderness.
No storm could shake, no ill could harm
So strong was Thy protecting arm,
“Holy and true are all Thy words,
Thou King of kings and Lord of lords!”Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Rev 7:14] Are You Washed In The Blood?
Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?Refrain
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?Refrain
When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?Refrain
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be washed in the blood of the Lamb!Refrain

[Rev 7:14] Behold A Host, Arrayed In White
Behold a host, arrayed in white,
Like thousand snow clad mountains bright,
With palms they stand. Who is this band
Before the throne of light?
Lo, these are they of glorious fame
Who from the great affliction came
And in the flood of Jesus’ blood
Are cleansed from guilt and blame.
Now gathered in the holy place
Their voices they in worship raise,
Their anthems swell where God doth dwell,
Mid angels’ song of praise.Despised and scorned, they sojourned here;
But now, how glorious they appear!
Those martyrs stand a priestly band,
God’s throne forever near.
So oft, in troubled days gone by,
In anguish they would weep and sigh.
At home above the God of Love
For aye their tears shall dry.
They now enjoy their Sabbath rest,
The paschal banquet of the blest;
The Lamb, their Lord, at festal board
Himself is Host and Guest.Then hail, ye mighty legions, yea,
All hail! Now safe and blest for aye,
And praise the Lord, who with His Word
Sustained you on the way.
Ye did the joys of earth disdain,
Ye toiled and sowed in tears and pain.
Farewell, now bring your sheaves and sing
Salvation’s glad refrain.
Swing high your palms, lift up your song,
Yea, make it myriad voices strong.
Eternally shall praise to Thee,
God, and the Lamb belong.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 7:14] Blood-washed Throng, The
There is a blood-washed multitude, a mighty army strong;
The Lord of hosts their righteousness, redeeming love their song.
They follow Christ Whose Name they bear, to yonder portals bright,
Where He has said His faithful ones shall walk with Him in white.That precious Name their guiding star, its beams will o’er them cast,
And through its power their trusting souls shall overcome at last.
The glory cloud will bring them safe to yonder palace bright,
Where they shall see Him eye to eye and walk with Him in white.March on! O blood-washed multitude, for lo! the hour draws nigh,
When we shall hail the King of kings triumphant in the sky.
When songs of praise to Him we love, shall fill the courts of light,
And they that overcome the world, shall walk with Him in white.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 7:14] Exalted High At God’s Right Hand
Exalted high at God’s right hand,
Nearer the throne than cherubs stand,
With glory crowned, in white array,
My wondering soul says, “Who are they?”These are the saints beloved of God,
Washed are their robes in Jesus’ blood;
More spotless than the purest white,
They shine in uncreated light.Brighter than angels, lo! they shine
Their glories great, and all divine;
Tell me their origin, and say
Their order what, and whence they came.Through tribulation great they came;
They bore the cross, and scorned the shame;
Within the living temple blest,
In God they dwell, and on Him rest.Hunger they ne’er shall feel again,
Nor burning thirst shall they sustain;
To wells of living waters led
By God, the Lamb, forever fed.Unknown to mortal ears, they sing
The secret glories of their King;
Tell me the subject of their lays,
And whence their loud exalted praise.Jesus, the Savior, is their theme;
They sing the wonders of His Name;
To Him ascribing power and grace,
Dominion and eternal praise.“Amen” they cry to Him alone,
Who dares to fill His Father’s throne;
They give Him glory, and again
Repeat His praise, and say “Amen.”Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 7:14] Hark! The Sound Of Holy Voices
Hark! the sound of holy voices, chanting at the crystal sea,
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Lord, to Thee;
Multitude, which none can number, like the stars in glory stand
Clothed in white apparel, holding palms of victory in their hand.Patriarch, and holy prophet, who prepared the way of Christ
King, apostle, saint, confessor, martyr and evangelist;
Saintly maiden, godly matron, widows who have watched to prayer
Joined in holy concert, singing to the Lord of all, are there.They have come from tribulation, and have washed their robes in blood,
Washed them in the blood of Jesus; tried they were, and firm they stood;
Mocked, imprisoned, stoned, tormented, sawn asunder, slain with sword;
They have conquered death and Satan by the might of Christ the Lord.Marching with Thy cross their banner, they have triumphed, following
Thee, the Captain of salvation, Thee, their Savior and their King;
Gladly, Lord, with Thee they suffered; gladly, Lord, with Thee they died;
And by death to life immortal they were born and glorified.Now they reign in heav’nly glory, now they walk in golden light,
Now they drink, as from a river, holy bliss and infinite:
Love and peace they taste forever, and all truth and knowledge see
In the beatific vision of the blessèd Trinity.God of God, the One begotten, Light of light, Emmanuel,
In Whose body joined together all the saints forever dwell;
Pour upon us of Thy fullness that we may forevermore
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost adore.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 7:14] How Bright These Glorious Spirits Shine
These glorious minds, how bright they shine!
Whence all their white array?
How came they to the happy seats
Of everlasting day?From torturing pains to endless joys
On fiery wheels they rode,
And strangely washed their raiment white
In Jesus’ dying blood.Now they approach a spotless God,
And bow before His throne
Their warbling harps and sacred songs
Adore the Holy One.The unveiled glories of His face
Amongst His saints reside,
While the rich treasure of His grace
Sees all their wants supplied.Tormenting thirst shall leave their souls,
And hunger flee as fast;
The fruit of life’s immortal tree
Shall be their sweet repast.The Lamb shall lead His heav’nly flock
Where living fountains rise;
And love divine shall wipe away
The sorrows of their eyes.Play source: Cyberhymnal -

To Him their loud hosannas raise.“Worthy the Lamb, for sinners slain,
Through endless years to live and reign;

[Rev 12:10] Come, Kingdom Of Our God
Come, kingdom of our God,
Sweet reign of light and love!
Shed peace and hope and joy abroad,
And wisdom, from above.Over our spirits first
Extend Thy healing reign;
There raise and quench the sacred thirst
That never pains again.Come, kingdom of our God!
And make the broad earth Thine;
Stretch o’er her lands and isles the rod
That flowers with grace divine.Soon may all tribes be blest
With fruit from life’s glad tree;
And in its shade like brothers rest,
Sons of one family.Come, kingdom of our God,

When God shall bless His own.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 12:10] To Thee And To Thy Christ, O God
To Thee and to Thy Christ, O God,
We sing, we ever sing;
For He the lonely wine press trod,
Our cup of joy to bring.
His glorious arm the strife maintained,
He marched in might from far;
His robes were with the vintage stained,
Red with the wine of war.To Thee and to Thy Christ, O God,
We sing, we ever sing;
For He invaded death’s abode,
And robbed him of his sting.
The house of dust enthralls no more,
For He, the Strong to save,
Himself doth guard that silent door,
Great Keeper of the grave.To Thee and to Thy Christ, O God,
We sing, we ever sing;
For He hath crushed beneath His rod
The world’s proud rebel king.
He plunged in His imperial strength
To gulfs of darkness down;
He brought His trophy up at length,
The foiled usurper’s crown.To Thee and to Thy Christ, O God,
We sing, we ever sing;
For He redeemed us with His blood
From every evil thing.
Thy saving strength His arm upbore,
The arm that set us free:
Glory, O God, forevermore
Be to Thy Christ and Thee.Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Rev 14:13] For All The Saints
For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!Thou wast their Rock, their Fortress and their Might;
Thou, Lord, their Captain in the well fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!For the Apostles’ glorious company,
Who bearing forth the Cross o’er land and sea,
Shook all the mighty world, we sing to Thee:
Alleluia, Alleluia!For the Evangelists, by whose blest word,
Like fourfold streams, the garden of the Lord,
Is fair and fruitful, be Thy Name adored.
Alleluia, Alleluia!For Martyrs, who with rapture kindled eye,
Saw the bright crown descending from the sky,
And seeing, grasped it, Thee we glorify.
Alleluia, Alleluia!O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
All are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!O may Thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia!And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave, again, and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia!The golden evening brightens in the west;
Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest;
Sweet is the calm of paradise the blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.

Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
And singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Alleluia, Alleluia!Play source: Cyberhymnal -

[Rev 14:13] How Blest The Righteous When He Dies!
How blest the righteous when he dies!
When sinks a weary soul to rest,
How mildly beam the closing eyes,
How gently heaves th’expiring breast!So fades a summer cloud away;
So sinks a gale when storms are o’er;
So gently shuts the eye of day;
So dies a wave along the shore.A holy quiet reigns around,
A calm which life nor death destroys;
And naught disturbs that peace profound
Which his unfettered soul enjoys.Farewell, conflicting hopes and fears,
Where lights and shades alternate dwell;
How bright th’unchanging morn appears!
Farewell, inconstant world, farewell!Life’s labor done, as sinks the clay,
Light from its load the spirit flies,
While Heav’n and earth combine to say,

Hush! blessèd are the dead
In Jesus’ arms who rest,
And lean their weary head

No darkling veil between,
They see the Light of Light,
Whom here they loved unseen.Them the Good Shepherd leads,
Where storms are never rife,
In tranquil dewy meads
Beside the Fount of Life.O tender hearts and true,
Our long last vigil kept,
We weep and mourn for you;
Nor blame us: Jesus wept.But soon at break of day
His calm almighty voice,
Stronger than death, shall say,
Awake! Arise! Rejoice!source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] Oh, How Blest Are Ye Whose Toils Are Ended
Oh, how blest are ye whose toils are ended!
Who, through death, have unto God ascended!
Ye have arisen
From the cares which keep us still in prison.We are still as in a dungeon living,
Still oppressed with sorrow and misgiving;
Our undertakings
Are but toils, and troubles, and heart-breakings.Ye meanwhile, are in your chambers sleeping,
Quiet, and set free from all our weeping;
No cross nor trial
Hinders your enjoyments with denial.Christ has wiped away your tears for ever;
Ye have that for which we still endeavor.
To you are chanted
Songs which yet no mortal ear have haunted.Ah! who would not, then, depart with gladness,
To inherit Heaven for earthly sadness?
Who here would languish
Longer in bewailing and in anguish?Come, O Christ, and loose the chains that bind us!
Lead us forth, and cast this world behind us!
With Thee, the Anointed,
Finds the soul its joy and rest appointed.Play source: Cyberhymnal -

Beyond the ether blue,
Where, by and by, thro’ grace divine,
We’ll meet and sing with you.We’ll sing of Him, our blessèd Lord,
Who laid His glory down;
Who bore our sins upon the cross,

At the blazing judgment bar,
Even now the awful summons I can hear;
I must meet the mighty God,
I must face His holy Word,
I must stand before the judgment bar.Refrain
Oh, my record will be there,
Be its pages dark or fair,
When I stand before the judgment bar.
When the books shall open be,
In that morning by and by,
Oh, my record, oh, my record will be there.I must meet each broken vow,
That I hold so lightly now,
Every heartache I have caused, each sigh, each tear;
Things that time cannot erase,
I must meet them face to face,
When I stand before the judgment bar.Refrain
Every secret lust and thought
There shall be to judgment brought,
When the Lord in all His glory shall appear;
All the deeds of darkest night
Shall come out to greet the light,
When I stand before the judgment bar.Refrain
I must meet my cankered gold,
For whose greed my life was sold,
It shall mock me in the judgment’s lurid glare;
Saying we have sold for naught,
All the Savior’s blood has bought,
You must stand before the judgment bar.Refrain

Let me trust His holy Word,
Let me bow and call upon Him while He’s near;
Then when I my record face,
He will answer in my place
When I stand before the judgment bar.Refrain

[Rev 20:12] That Great, Tremendous Day’s Approaching
That great, tremendous day’s approaching,
That awful scene is drawing nigh,
Which was foretold by ancient prophets,
Decreed from all eternity.
Prepare my soul, reflect and wonder,
That awful scene in drawing near,
When you shall see the great transaction,
When Christ in judgment shall appear.See nature standing in amazement,
To hear the last loud trumpet sound;
Arise, ye dead, and come to judgment,
Ye nations of this world around:
The orbèd lamps all veiled in sackcloth,
No more their shining circuit run,
The wheel of time now stopped forever,
Eternal things are now begun.Green graveyards, and the tombs of marble,
Give up their dead, both small and great;
And the whole world, both saint and sinner,
Are coming to the judgment seat;
See Jesus on the throne of justice,
In clouds descending from the sky,
With countless hosts of shining angels,
With hallelujahs shout for joy.source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 20:12] Time, By Moments, Steals Away
Time, by moments, steals away,
First the hour, and then the day;
Small the daily loss appears,
Yet it soon amounts to years:
Thus another year is flown,
Now it is no more our own
(If it brought or promised good)
Than the years before the flood.But (may none of us forget)
It has left us much in debt;
Favors from the Lord received,
Sins that have His Spirit grieved;
Marked by an unerring hand
In His book recorded stand;
Who can tell the vast amount,
Placed to each of our account?Happy, the believing soul!
Christ for you has paid the whole;
While you own the debt is large,
You may plead a full discharge:
But poor careless sinner, say,
What can you to justice pay?
Tremble, lest when life is past,
Into prison you be cast!Will you still increase the score?
Still be careless, as before?
O, forbid it, gracious Lord,
Touch their spirits by Thy Word!
Now, in mercy, to them show
What a mighty debt they owe!
All their unbelief subdue,
Let them find forgiveness too.Spared to see another year,
Let Thy blessing meet us here;
Come, Thy dying work revive,
Bid Thy drooping garden thrive:
Sun of righteousness arise!
Warm our hearts, and bless our eyes;
Let our prayer Thy bowels move,
Make this year a time of love!Play source: Cyberhymnal -

And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.Refrain
When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there.On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise,
And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.Refrain

[Rev 20:12] World Is Very Evil, The
The world is very evil, the times are waxing late,
Be sober and keep vigil, the Judge is at the gate.
The Judge Who comes in mercy, the Judge Who comes in might,
Who comes to end the evil, who comes to crown the right.Arise, arise, good Christian, let right to wrong succeed;
Let penitential sorrow to heavenly gladness lead,
To light that has no evening, that knows nor moon nor sun,
The light so new and golden, the light that is but one.O home of fadeless splendor, of flowers that bear no thorn,
Where they shall dwell as children who here as exiles mourn;
’Midst power that knows no limits, where wisdom has no bound,
The beatific vision shall glad the saints around.The peace that is for Heaven, and shall be too for earth,
The palace that re-echoes with festal song and mirth;
The garden breathing spices, the paradise on high;
Grace beautified to glory, unceasing minstrelsy.O happy, holy portion, reflection for the blest,
True vision of true beauty, true cure of the distressed!
Strive, man, to win that glory; toil, man, to gain that light;
Send hope before to grasp it, till hope be lost in sight.O sweet and blessèd country, the home of God’s elect!
O sweet and blessèd country, that eager hearts expect!
Jesu, in mercy bring us to that dear land of rest;
Who art with God the Father and Spirit, ever blest.Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Rev 20:4] Ring Out The Old, Ring In The New
Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow;
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light:
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more;
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife,
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweet manners, purer laws.Ring out old shapes of foul disease;
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.Ring in the valiant man and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.Play source: Cyberhymnal
