[Rev 21:23] Beautiful
Beautiful robes so white,
Beautiful land of light,
Beautiful home so bright,
Where there shall come no night;
Beautiful crown I’ll wear,
Shining with stars o’er there,
Yonder in mansions fair,
Gather us there.Refrain
Beautiful robes, beautiful land,
Beautiful home, beautiful band,
Beautiful crown, shining so fair,
Beautiful mansion bright,
Gather us there.Beautiful tho’t to me,
We shall forever be
Thine in eternity,
When from this world we’re free;
Free from its toil and care,
Heavenly joys to share,
Let me cross over there;
This is my pray’r.Refrain
Beautiful things on high,
Over in yonder sky,
Thus I shall leave this shore,
Counting my treasures o’er;
Where we shall never die,
Carry me by and by,
Never to sorrow more,
Heavenly store.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere
Somewhere the sun is shining,
Somewhere the songbirds dwell;
Hush, then, thy sad repining,
God lives, and all is well.Refrain
Somewhere, somewhere,
Beautiful Isle of Somewhere!
Land of the true, where we live anew,
Beautiful Isle of Somewhere!Somewhere the day is longer,
Somewhere the task is done;
Somewhere the heart is stronger,
Somewhere the guerdon won.Refrain
Somewhere the load is lifted,
Close by an open door;
Somewhere the clouds are rifted,
Somewhere the angels sing.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] Beautiful Land, The
We have heard of a land on whose blue, ether skies
Not a cloud for a moment can stay;
And it needs not the sun in his splendor to rise
For the Lord is the light of its day;
We have heard of that land, and its glory we seek,
Where the faithful with Jesus shall dwell,
Where the roses of youth never fade from the cheek,
And the lips never murmur, “Farewell.”We have talked of that land, when our journey was long,
And our hearts overburdened with care;
We have talked of the blest at the river of song,
And how oft we have sighed to be there;
And our faith has gone up, like a bird on the wing,
To that land on eternity’s shore,
Where the joy bells of Eden forever shall ring,
And the soul shall be weary no more.We are nearing that land, we are nearing the gate,
To the city of jasper and gold,
Where the Savior to welcome His children doth wait,
And will gather them into the fold;
To the fold of His love, in the mansions above,
Where forever with Him they shall dwell,
And the eyes that were sad in His smile shall be glad,
And the lips never murmur, “Farewell.”Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:23] Beautiful Valley Of Eden
Beautiful valley of Eden!
Sweet is thy noontide calm;
Over the heart of the weary,
Breathing thy waves of balm.Refrain
Beautiful valley of Eden,
Home of the pure and blest,
How often amid the wild billows
I dream of thy rest, sweet rest!Over the heart of the mourner
Shineth thy golden day,
Waiting the songs of the angels
Down from the far away.Refrain
There is the home of my Savior;
There, with the blood washed throng,
Over the highlands of glory
Rolleth the great new song.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] By And By (crosby)
We shall all clasp hands in glory by and by;
We shall tell redemption’s story by and by;
When the voyage of life is past
We shall reach the port at last,
And our anchor safely cast by and by.Refrain
By and by, by and by,
We shall all clasp hands in glory by and by.
We shall see our Savior’s face,
And adore His wondrous grace,
We shall feel His fond embrace by and by.We shall wake no more to sorrow by and by;
In the smile of endless morrow by and by;
Where our faith is lost in sight,
Where the Savior is the light,
We shall walk with Him in white by and by.Refrain
We shall cross the silent river by and by;
We shall rest and dwell together by and by;
Palms of victory we shall bear
In that cloudless region fair,
And we’ll know each other there by and by.Refrain
We shall join the angel chorus by and by,
With the dear ones gone before us by and by;
In that realm of perfect day,
Where the silver fountains play,
God will wipe all tears away by and by.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] In The City Where The Lamb Is The Light
There’s a country far beyond the starry sky,
There’s a city where there never comes a night;
If we’re faithful we shall go there by and by,
’Tis the city where the Lamb is the light.Refrain
In that city where the Lamb is the light,
The city where there cometh no night;
I’ve a mansion over there,
And when free from toil and care,
I am going where the Lamb is the light.Here we have our days of sunshine, but we know
That the sun which shines upon us now so bright
Will be changed to clouds and rain until we go
To the city where the Lamb is the light.Refrain
There the flowers bloom forever and the day
Shall be one eternal day without a night;
And our tears shall be forever wiped away,
In that city where the Lamb is the light.Refrain
Here we have our disappointments all the while,
And our fondest hopes but meet with bitter blight;
Tho’ by night we weep, the morning brings a smile,
In that city where the Lamb is the light.Refrain
Then let sunlight fade, let twilight bring its gloom,
Not a shadow can my blissful soul affright;
For I know that up in Heaven there is room,
In that city where the Lamb is the light.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] O Heavenly Jerusalem
O heavenly Jerusalem,
Of everlasting halls,
Thrice blessèd are the people
Thou storest in thy walls.Thou art the golden mansion,
Where saints forever sing,
The seat of God’s own chosen,
The palace of the king.There God forever sitteth,
Himself of all the Crown,
The Lamb, the Light that shineth,
And never goeth down.Naught to this seat approacheth
Their sweet peace to molest;
They sing their God forever,
Nor day nor night they rest.Sure hope doth thither lead us;
Our longings thither tend;
May short lived toil ne’er daunt us
For joys that cannot end.To Christ the Sun that lightens
His Church above, below,
To Father, and to Spirit,
All things created bow.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:23] On Jordan’s Stormy Banks I Stand
On Jordan’s stormy banks I stand,
And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan’s fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie.Refrain
I am bound for the promised land,
I am bound for the promised land;
Oh who will come and go with me?
I am bound for the promised land.O the transporting, rapturous scene,
That rises to my sight!
Sweet fields arrayed in living green,
And rivers of delight!Refrain
There generous fruits that never fail,
On trees immortal grow;
There rocks and hills, and brooks and vales,
With milk and honey flow.Refrain
O’er all those wide extended plains
Shines one eternal day;
There God the Son forever reigns,
And scatters night away.Refrain
No chilling winds or poisonous breath
Can reach that healthful shore;
Sickness and sorrow, pain and death,
Are felt and feared no more.Refrain
When I shall reach that happy place,
I’ll be forever blest,
For I shall see my Father’s face,
And in His bosom rest.Refrain
Filled with delight my raptured soul
Would here no longer stay;
Though Jordan’s waves around me roll,
Fearless I’d launch away.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] There’ll Be No Dark Valley
There’ll be no dark valley when Jesus comes,
There’ll be no dark valley when Jesus comes;
There’ll be no dark valley when Jesus comes
To gather His loved ones home.Refrain
To gather His loved ones home (safe home),
To gather His loved ones home (safe home);
There’ll be no dark valley when Jesus comes
To gather His loved ones home.There’ll be no more sorrow when Jesus comes,
There’ll be no more sorrow when Jesus comes;
But a glorious morrow when Jesus comes
To gather His loved ones home.Refrain
There’ll be no more weeping when Jesus comes,
There’ll be no more weeping when Jesus comes;
But a blessèd reaping when Jesus comes
To gather His loved ones home.Refrain
There’ll be songs of greeting when Jesus comes,
There’ll be songs of greeting when Jesus comes;
And a joyful meeting when Jesus comes
To gather His loved ones home.Refrain

[Rev 21:23] Where They Need No Sun
When my earthly day is waning and my mortal robes I fold,
With the dawning of eternity begun,
I shall enter gates of pearl to walk on streets of shining gold,
In that city where they need no sun.Refrain
In that city where they need no sun,
When at last my earthly race is run,
I shall see my Savior’s face,
Revel in His love and grace
In that city where they need no sun.O’er the fields of endless glory I shall wander with delight,
For with sadness and with pain I shall be done.
No more sorrow, no more sickness in that home so pure and bright,
In that city where they need no sun!Refrain
With the countless blood-washed millions I shall sing beyond the skies
Praise to God and to the Lamb for sinners slain.
As the sound of many waters this triumphant song shall rise
And resound throughout God’s vast domain.Refrain

[Rev 22:2] Those Eternal Bowers
Those eternal bowers, man hath never trod,
Those unfading flowers round the throne of God:
Who may hope to gain them after weary fight?
Who at length attain them, clad in robes of white?He who wakes from slumber at the Spirit’s voice,
Daring here to number things unseen his choice:
He whose one oblation is a life of love,
Knit in God’s salvation to the blest above.Shame upon you, legions of the heav’nly King,
Citizens of regions past imagining!
What! with pipe and tabor dream away the light,
When He bids you labor, when He tells you, “Fight”?Jesus, Lord of glory, as we breast the tide,
Whisper Thou the story of the other side;
Where the saints are casting crowns before Thy feet,
Safe for everlasting, in Thyself complete.Play source: Cyberhymnal
