Revelation 3:8

• [Rev 3:8] Today Thy Mercy Calls Me

  Today Thy mercy calls me to wash away my sin; However great my trespass, whate’er I may have been; However long from mercy I may have turned away, Thy blood, O Christ, can cleanse me, and make me white today. Today Thy gate is open, and all who enter in Shall find a Father’s welcome, and pardon for their sin; The past shall be forgotten, a present joy be given; A future grace be promised, a glorious crown in Heav’n. Today the Father calls me, the Holy Spirit waits, The blessèd angels gather around the heav’nly gates; No question will be asked me, how often I have come; Although I oft have wandered, it is my Father’s home. O all embracing mercy, thou ever open door, What shall I do without thee when heart and eyes run o’er? When all things seem against me, to drive me to despair, I know one gate is open, one ear will hear my prayer.

• [Rev 15:3] Awake, And Sing The Song

  Awake, and sing the song Of Moses and the Lamb; Wake, every heart and every tongue, To praise the Savior’s Name. Sing of His dying love; Sing of His rising power; Sing how He intercedes above For those whose sins He bore. Sing on your heavenly way, Ye ransomed sinners, sing; Sing on, rejoicing every day In Christ, the eternal King. Soon shall we hear Him say, “Ye blessèd children, come!” Soon will He call us hence away, To our eternal home. There shall each raptured tongue His endless praise proclaim; And sweeter voices tune the song Of Moses and the Lamb.

  O glorious King of martyr hosts, Thou Crown that each confessor boasts, Who leadest to celestial day The saints who cast earth’s joys away; Thine ear in mercy, Savior, lend, While unto Thee our prayers ascend; And as we count their triumphs won, Forgive the sins that we have done. Martyrs in Thee their triumph gain, Confessors grace from Thee obtain; We sinners humbly seek to Thee, From sin’s offense to set us free. All laud to God the Father be, All praise, eternal Son, to Thee; All glory, as is ever meet, To God the holy Paraclete.

Revelation 20:13

• [Rev 20:13] Chariot, The

  The chariot! the chariot! its wheels roll in fire, As the Lord cometh down in the pomp of His ire! Lo! self moving it drives on its pathway of cloud, And the heavens with the burden of Godhead are bowed. The glory! the glory! around Him are poured Mighty hosts of the angels that wait on the Lord; And the glorified saints and the martyrs are there, And there all who the palm wreaths of victory wear. The trumpet! the trumpet! the dead have all heard, Lo! the depths of the stone covered charnel are stirred; From the sea, from the earth, from the south, from the north, And the vast generations of man are come forth. The judgment! the judgment! the thrones are all set, Where the Lamb and the white vested elders are met; There all flesh is at once in the sight of the Lord, And the doom of eternity hangs on His word. O mercy! O mercy! look down from above, Great Creator, on us, Thy sad children, with love; When beneath to their darkness the wicked are driven, May our justified souls find a welcome in Heaven.
