Revelation 2:11

Context
2:11 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers 1  will in no way be harmed by the second death.’

Revelation 20:13

Context
20:13 The 2  sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death 3  and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

Revelation 21:4

Context
21:4 He 4  will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more – or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.” 5 

1 tn Or “who is victorious”; traditionally, “who overcomes.”

2 tn Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style.

3 sn Here Death is personified (cf. 1 Cor 15:55).
