Revelation 19:9
-
[Rev 19:9] Here, O My Lord, I See Thee
Here, O my Lord, I see Thee face to face;
Here would I touch and handle things unseen;
Here grasp with firmer hand eternal grace,
And all my weariness upon Thee lean.This is the hour of banquet and of song;
This is the heavenly table spread for me;
Here let me feast, and feasting, still prolong
The hallowed hour of fellowship with Thee.Here would I feed upon the bread of God,
Here drink with Thee the royal wine of Heaven;
Here would I lay aside each earthly load,
Here taste afresh the calm of sin forgiven.I have no help but Thine; nor do I need
Another arm save Thine to lean upon;
It is enough, my Lord, enough indeed;
My strength is in Thy might, Thy might alone.I have no wisdom save in Him Who is
My Wisdom and my Teacher both in One;
No wisdom can I lack while Thou art wise;
No teaching do I crave save Thine alone.Mine is the sin, but Thine the righteousness:
Mine is the guilt, but Thine the cleansing blood;
Here is my robe, my refuge, and my peace;
Thy Blood, Thy righteousness, O Lord my God!Too soon we rise; the symbols disappear;
The feast, though not the love, is past and gone.
The bread and wine remove; but Thou art here,
Nearer than ever, still my Shield and Sun.Feast after feast thus comes and passes by;
Yet, passing, points to the glad feast above,
Giving sweet foretaste of the festal joy,
The Lamb’s great bridal feast of bliss and love.Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Rev 14:13] For All The Saints
For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!Thou wast their Rock, their Fortress and their Might;
Thou, Lord, their Captain in the well fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!For the Apostles’ glorious company,
Who bearing forth the Cross o’er land and sea,
Shook all the mighty world, we sing to Thee:
Alleluia, Alleluia!For the Evangelists, by whose blest word,
Like fourfold streams, the garden of the Lord,
Is fair and fruitful, be Thy Name adored.
Alleluia, Alleluia!For Martyrs, who with rapture kindled eye,
Saw the bright crown descending from the sky,
And seeing, grasped it, Thee we glorify.
Alleluia, Alleluia!O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
All are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!O may Thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia!And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave, again, and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia!The golden evening brightens in the west;
Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest;
Sweet is the calm of paradise the blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.
Alleluia, Alleluia!From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
And singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Alleluia, Alleluia!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] Hear What The Voice From Heav’n Proclaims
Hear what the voice from Heav’n proclaims,
For all the pious dead;
Sweet is the savor of their names,
And soft their sleeping bed.They died in Jesus, and are blest;
How kind their slumbers are!
From sufferings and from sins released,
And freed from every snare.Far from this world of toil and strife,
They’re present with the Lord;
The labors of their mortal life
End in a large reward.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] How Blest The Righteous When He Dies!
How blest the righteous when he dies!
When sinks a weary soul to rest,
How mildly beam the closing eyes,
How gently heaves th’expiring breast!So fades a summer cloud away;
So sinks a gale when storms are o’er;
So gently shuts the eye of day;
So dies a wave along the shore.A holy quiet reigns around,
A calm which life nor death destroys;
And naught disturbs that peace profound
Which his unfettered soul enjoys.Farewell, conflicting hopes and fears,
Where lights and shades alternate dwell;
How bright th’unchanging morn appears!
Farewell, inconstant world, farewell!Life’s labor done, as sinks the clay,
Light from its load the spirit flies,
While Heav’n and earth combine to say,
“How blest the righteous when he dies!”source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] Hush! Blessed Are The Dead
Hush! blessèd are the dead
In Jesus’ arms who rest,
And lean their weary head
Forever on His breast.O beatific sight!
No darkling veil between,
They see the Light of Light,
Whom here they loved unseen.Them the Good Shepherd leads,
Where storms are never rife,
In tranquil dewy meads
Beside the Fount of Life.O tender hearts and true,
Our long last vigil kept,
We weep and mourn for you;
Nor blame us: Jesus wept.But soon at break of day
His calm almighty voice,
Stronger than death, shall say,
Awake! Arise! Rejoice!source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] Oh, How Blest Are Ye Whose Toils Are Ended
Oh, how blest are ye whose toils are ended!
Who, through death, have unto God ascended!
Ye have arisen
From the cares which keep us still in prison.We are still as in a dungeon living,
Still oppressed with sorrow and misgiving;
Our undertakings
Are but toils, and troubles, and heart-breakings.Ye meanwhile, are in your chambers sleeping,
Quiet, and set free from all our weeping;
No cross nor trial
Hinders your enjoyments with denial.Christ has wiped away your tears for ever;
Ye have that for which we still endeavor.
To you are chanted
Songs which yet no mortal ear have haunted.Ah! who would not, then, depart with gladness,
To inherit Heaven for earthly sadness?
Who here would languish
Longer in bewailing and in anguish?Come, O Christ, and loose the chains that bind us!
Lead us forth, and cast this world behind us!
With Thee, the Anointed,
Finds the soul its joy and rest appointed.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 14:13] We’ll Follow On
O happy ones, that sweetly sing,
In yonder world so fair;
Your footprints on the sands of time,
Were left to guide us there.Refrain
We’ll follow on, still looking up,
Beyond the ether blue,
Where, by and by, thro’ grace divine,
We’ll meet and sing with you.We’ll sing of Him, our blessèd Lord,
Who laid His glory down;
Who bore our sins upon the cross,
That we might wear a crown.Refrain
We follow on with trusting hearts,
For o’er life’s troubled way,
The same protecting hand is ours,
That led you, day by day.Refrain

Revelation 20:6
-
[Rev 20:6] Soon Shall We See The Glorious Morn
Soon shall we see the glorious morning!
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!
Sinners, attend the notes of warning!
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!
The resurrection day draws near,
The King of saints shall soon appear,
And high His royal standard rear:
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!Hear ye the trump of God resounding,
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!
Through death’s dark vaults its notes rebounding:
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!
To meet the Bridegroom haste! prepare!
Put on your bridal garments fair;
And hail your Savior in the air!
Saints, arise! Saints, arise!The saints who sleep, with joy awaken,
All arise! All arise!
Their clay cold beds are quick forsaken,
All arise! All arise!
Not one of all the faithful few
Who here on earth the Savior knew,
But starts with bliss his Lord to view:
All arise! All arise!Fast by the throne of God behold them
Crowned at last! Crowned at last!
See in His arms the Savior fold them,
Crowned at last! Crowned at last!
With wreaths of glory round their head;
No tears of sorrow now are shed,
To joy’s full fountain all are led:
Crowned at last! Crowned at last!source: Cyberhymnal
