Context
11:3 And I will grant my two witnesses authority 1  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

Revelation 11:15

Context
The Seventh Trumpet

11:15 Then 2  the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:

“The kingdom of the world

has become the kingdom of our Lord

and of his Christ, 3

and he will reign for ever and ever.”

1 tn The word “authority” is not in the Greek text, but is implied. “Power” would be another alternative that could be supplied here.

2 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the vision.

3 tn Or “Messiah”; both “Christ” (Greek) and “Messiah” (Hebrew and Aramaic) mean “one who has been anointed.”
