Revelation 1:5
-
[Rev 1:5] Let Us Love And Sing And Wonder
Let us love and sing and wonder,
Let us praise the Savior’s Name!
He has hushed the law’s loud thunder,
He has quenched Mount Sinai’s flame.
He has washed us with His blood,
He has brought us nigh to God.Let us love the Lord Who bought us,
Pitied us when enemies,
Called us by His grace, and taught us,
Gave us ears and gave us eyes:
He has washed us with His blood,
He presents our souls to God.Let us sing, though fierce temptation
Threaten hard to bear us down!
For the Lord, our strong Salvation,
Holds in view the conqueror’s crown:
He Who washed us with His blood
Soon will bring us home to God.Let us wonder; grace and justice
Join and point to mercy’s store;
When through grace in Christ our trust is,
Justice smiles and asks no more:
He Who washed us with His blood
Has secured our way to God.Let us praise, and join the chorus
Of the saints enthroned on high;
Here they trusted Him before us,
Now their praises fill the sky:
“Thou hast washed us with Your blood;
Thou art worthy, Lamb of God!”Hark! the Name of Jesus, sounded
Loud, from golden harps above!
Lord, we blush, and are confounded,
Faint our praises, cold our love!
Wash our souls and songs with blood,
For by Thee we come to God.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 1:5] Lord, Enthroned In Heavenly Splendor
Lord, enthroned in heavenly splendor,
First begotten from the dead,
You alone, our strong Defender,
Now lift up Your people’s head.Refrain
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Jesus, true and living Bread!
Jesus, true and living Bread!Here our humblest homage pay we,
Here in loving reference bow;
Here for faith’s discernment pray we,
Lest we fail to know You now.Refrain
Though the lowliest form doth veil Thee
As of old in Bethlehem,
Here as there Thine angels hail Thee,
Branch and Flower of Jesse’s stem.Refrain
Paschal Lamb, Your offering finished
Once for all when You were slain,
In its fullness undiminished
Shall forevermore remain.Refrain
Great High Priest of our profession,
Through the veil Thou wentest in,
By Thy mighty intercession,
Grace and peace for us to win.Refrain
Life imparting heavenly Manna,
Smitten Rock with streaming side,
Heaven and earth with loud hosanna
Worship You, the Lamb Who died.Refrain

[Rev 1:5] Now To The Lord, Who Makes Us Know
Now to the Lord, that makes us know
The wonders of His dying love,
Be humble honors paid below,
And strains of nobler praise above.’Twas He that cleansed our foulest sins,
And washed us in His richest blood;
’Tis He that makes us priests and kings,
And brings us rebels near to God.To Jesus, our atoning Priest,
To Jesus, our superior King,
Be everlasting power confessed,
And every tongue His glory sing.Behold, on flying clouds He comes,
And every eye shall see Him move;
Though with our sins we pierced Him once,
Then He displays His pard’ning love.The unbelieving world shall wail,
While we rejoice to see the day:
Come, Lord; nor let Thy promise fail,
Nor let Thy chariots long delay.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Revelation 17:14
-
[Rev 17:14] Jesus, Our Lord And King
Jesus, our Lord and King,
To You our praises rise;
To You our bodies we present,
A living sacrifice.Now justified by grace,
And made alive to God,
Formed for Yourself to show Your praise,
We sound Your love abroad.As dead indeed to sin,
We rise to walk anew,
Henceforth, as not our own, but Yours,
We follow only You.Baptized into Your death,
With You again we rise,
To newness of a life of faith,
To new and endless joys.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 17:14] Who Is He In Yonder Stall?
Who is He in yonder stall
At Whose feet the shepherds fall?
Who is He in deep distress,
Fasting in the wilderness?Refrain
’Tis the Lord! O wondrous story!
’Tis the Lord! the King of glory!
At His feet we humbly fall,
Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all!Who is He the people bless
For His words of gentleness?
Who is He to Whom they bring
All the sick and sorrowing?Refrain
Who is He that stands and weeps
At the grave where Lazarus sleeps?
Who is He the gathering throng
Greet with loud triumphant song?Refrain
Lo! at midnight, who is He
Prays in dark Gethsemane?
Who is He on yonder tree
Dies in grief and agony?Refrain
Who is He that from the grave
Comes to heal and help and save?
Who is He that from His throne
Rules through all the world alone?Refrain

Revelation 21:4
-
[Rev 21:4] Away With Our Sorrow And Fear
Away with our sorrow and fear!
We soon shall recover our home,
The city of saints shall appear,
The day of eternity come:
From earth we shall quickly remove,
And mount to our native abode,
The house of our Father above,
The palace of angels and God.Our mourning is all at an end,
When, raised by the life-giving Word,
We see the new city descend,
Adorned as a bride for her Lord;
The city so holy and clean,
No sorrow can breathe in the air;
No gloom of affliction or sin,
No shadow of evil is there.By faith we already behold
That lovely Jerusalem here;
Her walls are of jasper and gold,
As crystal her buildings are clear;
Immovably founded in grace,
She stands as she ever hath stood,
And brightly her Builder displays,
And flames with the glory of God.No need of the sun in that day,
Which never is followed by night,
Where Jesus’ beauties display
A pure and a permanent light:
The Lamb is their light and their sun,
And lo! by reflection they shine,
With Jesus ineffably one,
And bright in effulgence divine!The saints in His presence receive
Their great and eternal reward;
In Jesus, in Heaven they live,
They reign in the smile of their Lord:
The flame of angelical love
Is kindled at Jesus’ face;
And all the enjoyment above
Consists in the rapturous gaze.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:4] Come, Let Us Now Forget Our Mirth
Come, let us now forget our mirth,
And think that we must die:
What are our best delights on earth,
Compared with those on high?A sad and sinful world is this,
Although it seems so fair;
But Heaven is perfect joy and bliss,
For God Himself is there.Here all our pleasures soon are past,
Our brightest joys decay;
But pleasures there for ever last,
And can not fade away.Here many a pain and bitter groan
Our feeble bodies tear;
But pain and sickness are not known,
And never shall be, there.Here sins and sorrows we deplore
With many cares distressed;
But there the mourners weep no more,
And there the weary rest.Our dearest friends when death shall call,
At once must hence depart;
But there we hope to meet them all,
And never, never part.Then let us love and serve the Lord
With all our youthful powers,
And we shall gain this great reward,
This glory shall be ours.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:4] In A Little While We’re Going Home
Let us sing a song that will cheer us by the way,
In a little while we’re going home;
For the night will end in the everlasting day,
In a little while we’re going home.Refrain
In a little while, in a little while,
We shall cross the billow’s foam;
We shall meet at last,
When the stormy winds are past,
In a little while we’re going home.We will do the work that our hands may find to do,
In a little while we’re going home;
And the grace of God will our daily strength renew,
In a little while we’re going home.Refrain
We will smooth the path for some weary, way-worn feet,
In a little while we’re going home;
And may loving hearts spread around an influence sweet!
In a little while we’re going home.Refrain
There’s a rest beyond, there’s relief from every care,
In a little while we’re going home;
And no tears shall fall in that city bright and fair,
In a little while we’re going home.Refrain

[Rev 21:4] Jerusalem, Jerusalem
Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
Thou city ever blest,
Within thy portals first I find
My safety, peace and rest.
Here dangers always threaten me,
My days in strife are spent,
And labor, sorrow, worry, grief,
I find at best their strength.No wonder, then, that I do long
O blessèd home, for thee,
Where I shall find a resting place,
From sin and sorrow free;
Where tears and weeping are no more,
Nor death, nor pain, nor night,
For former things are passed way,
And darkness turned to light.Now all for me has lost its charm
Which by the world is praised,
Since on the cross, through faith, I saw
My Savior Jesus raised;
My goal is fixed, one thing I ask,
Whate’er the cost may be,
Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
Soon to arrive in thee.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:4] Never Say Goodbye
O blessèd home where those who meet
Shall never say goodbye;
Where kindred souls each other greet,
And never say goodbye.Refrain
We’ll never say goodbye,
We’ll never say goodbye;
In that fair land beyond the sky,
We’ll never say goodbye.Beyond this vale of toil and care,
We’ll never say goodbye;
We part in tears on earth, but there—
We’ll never say goodbyeRefrain
When safe among the ransomed throng
We’ll never say goodbye;
Where life is one eternal song,
We’ll never say goodbye.Refrain
On yonder fair and peaceful shore,
We’ll never say goodbye;
But dwell with Christ forevermore,
And never say goodbye.Refrain

[Rev 21:4] There Is A Better World
There is a better world, they say
O so bright! O so bright!
Where sin and woe are done away,
O so bright! O so bright!
And music fills the balmy air,
And angels with bright wings are there,
And harps of gold and mansions fair,
O so bright! O so bright!No clouds e’er pass along that sky,
Happy land! Happy land!
No tear drops glisten in the eye,
Happy land! Happy land!
They drink the gushing streams of grace,
And gaze upon the Savior’s face
Whose brightness fills the holy place;
Happy land! Happy land!And wicked things and beasts of prey,
Come not there! Come not there!
And ruthless death and fierce decay,
Come not there! Come not there!
There all are holy, all are good,
But hearts unwashed in Jesus’ blood,
And guilty sinners unrenewed,
Come not there! Come not there!And though we’re sinners every one,
Jesus died! Jesus died!
And though our crown of peace is gone,
Jesus died! Jesus died!
We may be cleansed from every stain,
We may be crowned with bliss again,
And in that land of glory reign;
Jesus died! Jesus died!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:4] There Is No Night In Heaven
There is no night in Heaven;
In that blest world above
Work never can bring weariness,
For work itself is love.There is no grief in Heaven;
For life is one glad day;
And tears are of those former things
Which all have passed away.There is no sin in Heaven;
Behold that blessèd throng:
All holy is their spotless robe,
All holy is their song!There is no death in Heaven;
For they who gain that shore
Have won their immortality,
And they can die no more.Lord Jesus, be our Guide;
O lead us safely on,
Till night and grief and sin and death
Are past, and Heaven is won!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Rev 21:4] We Are Going
We are going, we are going,
To a home beyond the skies,
Where the fields are robed in beauty,
And the sunlight never dies;
Where the fount of joy is flowing,
In the valley green and fair,
We shall dwell in love together;
There will be no parting there.Refrain
We are going, we are going,
To a home beyond the skies,
Where the fields are robed in beauty,
And the sunlight never dies.We are going, we are going,
And the music we have heard
Like the echo of the woodland,
Or the carol of a bird;
With the rosy light of morning
On the calm and fragrant air,
Still it murmurs, softly murmurs,
There will be no parting there.Refrain
We are going, we are going,
When this mortal life is o’er,
To that pure and happy region
Where our friends have gone before;
They are singing with the angels
In that land so bright and fair;
We shall dwell with them forever;
There will be no parting there.Refrain

[Rev 21:4] What Will It Matter?
What will it matter, by and by,
What will it matter, by and by
Whether my crosses were heavy or light,
Whether my pathway was cloudy or bright,
When I shall walk with the ransomed in white,
Safe in that beautiful land?What will it matter, by and by,
What will it matter, by and by,
Whether my trials were many or few,
Whether the world was unfaithful or true,
When my Redeemer in glory I view,
Home in that beautiful land?What will it matter, by and by,
What will it matter, by and by,
Whether the waters were bitter or sweet,
Murmuring gently, or sad at my feet,
When the departed, with rapture, I meet,
Home in that beautiful land?What will it matter, by and by,
What will it matter, by and by,
Whether I press with the morning away,
Whether at noontide or closing of day,
When in the valley of Eden I stray,
Home in that beautiful land?Play source: Cyberhymnal
