• [Psa 102:17] The Lord Has Heard And Answered Prayer

  The Lord has heard and answered prayer And saved His people in distress; This to the coming age declare, That they His holy Name may bless. The Lord, exalted on His throne, Looked down from Heav’n with pitying eye To still the lowly captive’s moan And save His people doomed to die. All men in Zion shall declare His gracious Name with one accord, When kings and nations gather there To serve and worship God the Lord. Before my journey is complete My vigor fails, my years decline; My God, O spare me, I entreat; The days of life are wholly Thine. The earth and heav’ns shall pass away, Like vesture worn and laid aside, But changeless Thou shalt live for aye, Thy years forever shall abide. Thou, O Jehovah, shalt endure; Thy throne forever is the same; And to all generations sure Shall be Thy great memorial Name. Thy servants’ children shall remain Forevermore before Thy face; Enduring honor they shall gain, Established ever in Thy grace.

Psalms 104:22-23

• [Psa 104:23] Savior, To Thee We Raise Our Hymn

  Savior, to Thee we raise our hymn of gladness; Once more at evening’s hour we look to Heav’n above; Far, far behind to leave earth’s toil and sadness— So resting only on Thy great redeeming love. May this day’s sins, we pray Thee, all be pardoned; Grant us Thy absolution, give Thy grace to cheer; O never let our hearts by sin be hardened, But keep our conscience tender, give us holy fear. Now day is done, and all its labors ended, Close Thou, O Lord, our weary eyes in gentle sleep; So may we ever be by Thee defended— O may Thy guardian angels round us vigil keep! Our souls restore, renew our pow’rs, and make us Strong in Thy strength to rise and greet the morning light; And at the last, O blessèd Savior, take us To dwell with Thee in that glad land which knows no night!

  O let my supplicating cry By Thee, my gracious Lord, be heard; Give wisdom and deliver me According to Thy faithful Word. Instructed in Thy holy law, To praise Thy Word I lift my voice; O Lord, be Thou my present help, For Thy commandments are my choice. For Thy salvation I have longed, And in Thy law is my delight; Enrich my soul with life divine, And help by Thy judgments right. Thy servant like a wandering sheep Has lost the path and gone astray; Restore my soul and lead me home, For Thy commands I would obey

• [Psa 149:6] O Lord, ’tis Matter Of High Praise

  O Lord, ’tis matter of high praise, Thy Word on us doth shine, But happy they who feel its rays, And glorious power divine. O let poor sinners feel their sin Prick them, as with a sword; And purge out all that filth within; So will we praise Thy Word. Enlightened souls have cause to sing, Who wounded were by Thee; True cause of joy to such doth spring; For they, Lord, healèd be. And now in robes most richly decked, They to the King are brought; Surpassing angels, for have they A robe so richly wrought. We therefore throw our crowns below Thy high and glorious throne; And must all say, both night and day, Thou worthy art alone, All glory, power, and praise to have, By us forevermore; Thus let us sing unto our King, And Him in heart adore.
